Just wanted to say good luck Thrift (and everyone else of course) x
I'm sure this is a daft question, but have you checked how sensitive your tests are? I got mine from Amazon, £3.95 for 5 I think, as they were more sensitive than some of the branded ones!0 -
Just letting you all know I'm still around. After last AF I had a bit of a tearful meltdown and although I have been lurking a little I've not felt up to joining in the conversations. On the plus side through my anger and tears I made a big effort with my VitB tablets and it looks like I'll be OVing earlier than I have done in a while. I had EWCM yesterday so will likely OV today or tomorrow. DTD Sunday and again this morning, missed yesterday as I fell asleep and hadn't actually been expecting OV this soon but I'm happy we've tried as best we could.
I think last AF got me so much because on the 2nd November 2015 I found out I was pregnant and after the MC I wasn't expecting to be getting to 2 years later and still not being pg again. I think AF on 9th October was the realisation that I wouldn't be pg by 2nd November and it would be 2 years.
Sorry everyone else who has been feeling it and all the AF's that keep showing up. FX for the ladies still in the unsure stage and hope your BFP arrives soon.0 -
Sorry that you found this last AF so difficult athensgeorgia - completely understand. Sounds like you've got a good chance this month with your timings. Fingers crossed for you.
We're at CD36. Last cycle was also 36 days so expecting AF tomorrow. They have varied though. Had been between 28 and 32 days.
We'd both ruled out this month but not so sure now. OH had a few spots develop on her face last week. She's had cramping on and off for the last couple of days and feeling a bit nauseas.
Just have to wait and see.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000 -
IIRC you had a lo not that long ago. Has MrsFrugal's cycle gone back to normal or has the variation been since lo was born?
Only asking because I can definitely confirm differences in my hormones and cycles since my last pregnancy.0 -
that variation is normal for her was the same last time we were TTC.
If anything they were slightly more regular this time than they were before. At least until she went back to work after maternity leave. They've lengthened considerably since then.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Feeling emotional today, I think AF is due. Work is so stressful I'm beginning to think that this is the reason why we haven't been successful, I've been working here almost 3 years and it has been almost 3 years TTC #1
.
Sloth - other half have had 2 x SA and it has come back normal, in fact better than average according to the GP. I agree it is frustrating not knowing why you can't fall pregnant. You're not out until AF comes.
Lavender, I assume you mean pregnancy tests rather than OPKs? Sorry I've not tested for over a year so I don't know, I'm sure the other ladies/gent will advise.
Good luck athens,I really didn't think it would take us this long to get pregnant, almost 3 years for us.
You're not out until AF comes Freddie, good luck0 -
Hi all,
Athens I'm so sorry for the struggle you are going through, reading your post made me fill up. I won't pretend that I can understand fully how you must be feeling but I do feel for you, as Freddie said it does sound like you've given it a good go this month, I hope this month is yours.
Would you recommend taking vitB? I'm currently only taking folic acid but would appreciate any advice
Lily and Freddie- hope AF hasn't come for you or your wife Freddie. Keep us posted!
Slothsocks and Thrift- any sign of AF?
Zeni are you feeling any better? Can I please be moved to if in doubt when you next do the lists? I'm feeling positive for this month, have things planned in for most weekends of Nov which I find helps fill the days in when I have more things to look forward to (and less time to spend on google googling things!)

Hello all :-)
Hope everyone's well. I'm back after a month off- the cyst went away so we're onto round 2 of Clomid. CD10 today and I've got my follicle scan in a few hours. I don't know why, but I'm just not feeling it this month.
It's not like I've completely lost hope, but I just can't find it in me to get excited at all. I'm afraid that if we were ever so lucky to be blessed with a BFP, then I couldn't truly enjoy it because this journey has sucked the joy and wonder out of starting a family.0
