Morning all! Thanks for the lovely welcome :j
I am CD13 today... I think I am awaiting O although Ovia has me right in the middle of my fertile window(so far completely -ve OPKs, not even a hint of a line!).

I understand what you are saying Snowscreamer and Rachy about waiting until after the wedding, my irrational and over excited self just wants to get going - I suppose after all these years preventing and then the past year just waiting to TTC I am impatient. I sort of feel like it wont be that easy either although I think from reading a lot of this thread that a lot of people worry about that at first. Our wedding is in 5 weeks today and honeymoon end of Jan.

Congrats on the proposal Munchkin! So exciting!

Unfortunately chickenmama if there is one thing I've learnt it's that you just don't' know until you try. You could fall month 1 - it could take years - it could be somewhere in between - there is just no way of predicting.

So you have to make the choice that's right for you - being 7/8 weeks pregnant on your wedding day could be perfectly fine, or you could be extremely sick, so it's your call. Personally, I think I would relax and enjoy the wedding before putting this extra thing on, but only you know what's right for you and your OH

Sorry AF got you Munchkin but congratulations on the engagement! I think having something to focus on will really help. I keep trying to find different things each month but my mind always reverts back to TTC. I'd like to get a puppy to help me focus on that.


I am somewhere in my tww, I got a positive ovulation test last Monday but only managed to BD that day and 2 days before so not holding out much hope for me. I've just worked out my AF after this cycle will be due boxing day. I won't let this put a downer on xmas though even though it will be hard if AF does arrive xx

Just popping back to say, that's 'all' we managed the month we got our BFP, so there's always hope

I was looking at some statistics yesterday from another TTC thread and they charted when they got their BFP - ovulation -2days actually looked like the most successful time to BD, so it sounds like you've got it perfect Fingers crossed for you!

Chickenmama - I completely agree with Cats on the wedding advice. Especially considering it is only likely to be one cycle between now and then (unless you've already caught).

I know people that have caught from first cycle

I also know people who have been terribly sick during the first trimester and had to be off work. Being ill is hard enough to hide but pregnancy symptoms are much more obvious and so hiding it will be tough.

Good luck in what you decide though. Exciting about the forthcoming wedding, so close to Christmas too :j

A0503 - We have only managed the same pattern as you. I am feeling confident this month, stupid I know but I need to hold on to my positivity.

It's probably because I have a job interview and it will be sods law that I get it then tell them I'll be leaving next year to have a baby:rotfl:

Chickenmama, I've added you to the daily list. :beer: you must be very excited for the wedding. I never had any morning sickness so a wedding day wouldn't have been impacted for me. From memory, we started NTNP from a couple of months before the wedding. It then took us 18 for our first..... (we learned a lot along the way). You'll know what's right for you

A0503 - that sounds perfect..... Fertility friend says -2 to OV day is the best time and mine this month was -2 and ov. I already worked out when baby would be due if we did BFP. :rotfl: my last baby was conceived on -3, -1 and ov. Maybe we had more energy that month :D
