Congratulations Cherry Gale. Wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months

I keep failing at SMEP. Had everything planned for this cycle including time away but then I fell ill :(

Sorry that no-one is offering to take over the lists Newthrift, I have never been part of them and sometimes don't read or post on the thread for days so can't offer my own services. If you have to give up then I'm sure someone else will soon take it on if they rely on them. It seems very quiet here lately though... it's all these thread graduates

    Welcome Hotcookie

It does seem to be very quiet on here atm! I'm not desperate to stop doing the lists as I still would be lurking over here keeping an eye out for BFP's but I don't always get on every day! I found SMEP didn't work for us and just BD'ing a lot around when we thought peak week was. I also had a short reiki healing session and I swear that made the difference in balancing my body back out.

Congratulations CherryGale :D wishing you a happy and healthy 9months.

Hotcookie it's worth asking you GP as it does vary area to area and it might be variant on age too.

Sorry for a lack of list yesterday and late one today, just been very busy and not had chance to get on.

  • Hi everyone

After reading this thread with interest and fingers crossed for everyone all year I am now able to join you (hope that doesn't sound too strange!) OH and I have been talking about trying all year and thought we would wait until after our wedding at the end of this year but are now basically agreeing to NTNP until then and what happens happens. I had already come off the pill earlier in the year to normalise my cycles and I use ovia to track. I am using OPKs this month to see when (and if!) I ovulate and as this is all my first time I am so excited to see a positive for ovulation so I know it's possible!

I am 32 TTC #1 (#2 for OH as we already have my lovely stepdaughter) looking forward to chatting with you all and seeing your BFPs!

Just delurking to say, I would seriously consider delaying if it's only a couple of months until your wedding - I am currently expecting #1 (now 9+4) and have had terrible morning sickness since week 5-6 (i.e. 3-4 weeks post conception). It would have ruined my wedding day and honeymoon if we'd tried earlier and caught. Over the last few weeks, although very excited, I just haven't been myself and have to make provisions to snack every couple of hours, am suffering from indigestion and going to the loo all the time; occasionally vomiting...

Best of luck whatever you decide to do but just my 2 cents! I had a wonderful wedding day in September feeling at my absolute very best and we were lucky enough not to have any issues with conception and I fell pregnant on honeymoon. I am really glad we waited having had to spend the last month as a hermit feeling sorry for myself!
Cleared my credit card debt of £7123.58 in a year using YNAB! Debt free date 04/12/2015.
Enjoying sending hundreds of pounds a month to savings rather than debt repayment!

Congrats to Cherry and Cookie !

Sorry New I did notice you were coming back to do the lists, I am a bit indifferent as I am not on it so don't really use it and I don't have access every day. Hopefully someone will be able to take it off your hands soon!

Welcome Chicken - I am on month 8 of TTC, I started trying in April and nothing yet so there's no way of knowing how long its going to take or how you'll feel if you do fall preg. I think if you want to try then go for it xx

  • Well, bang on time AF has arrived. I really thought it was our month. Wanted to try SMEP this month but due to various reasons, we weren't able to stick to it to the letter.
I still thought we had managed to get the timing right.
This seems to be getting harder each time AF arrives, not sure how much more I can take.
At least, the silver lining is that now I can finally crack open the champagne we got last week as OH proposed.
OH is still home for the next few weeks before he goes away again for work so fingers crossed for this cycle.
  • I'm sorry about AF, munchkin, hope you have better luck this cycle.

And a big congratulations on your engagement!
  • Thank you Cherry, congrats to you too.
  • Can i be updated to CD 6 please?

29 day cycle last month, which is much better than the last time I was TTC where it took 4 months to get down to a normal cycle length.

In a predicament now. We definitely will TTC this month if OH is medically ok to do so, but that would mean testing VERY close to xmas. I'd be due on around 16th. I love xmas & don't want testing to put a downer on it. I could always drown my sorrows with alcohol though...
