Update from me ( and one I can't believe I'm writing.. .) last week I had really bad headaches and sickness so hubby made me do a test before going docs imagine my surprise on Saturday when I got my BFP after 14 long months of well nothing! In my excitement we went out and got a clear blue digital which said pregnant 1 f 2 weeks. We were soo excited as I honestly thought it wouldn't happen.

However yesterday was a reality check. So I booked in with my doctor to get it all confirmed who said the clear blue digital didn't tie in with how they date per when my last period was and therefore this is likely to be a failing pregnancy

I had a blood test this morning and have another one booked in for Thursday and depending on my Hcg levels at both will depend on whether they refer me to a midwife or not. Trying to hope for the best but not too sure at the moment.

As for me, first time testing, bfn. But if no AF in the next couple of days, I'll check again. This is when I would normally be due, but have only been off the pill a few months.

Oh midget why did they say that??? How long are your cycles? Mine didn't tie in at all from LMP because I have long cycles but they never said that to me!!

How many days past ov did you test? EDIT I've just looked above and you were on a long cycle I think so don't rule yourself out yet! I'm genuinely shocked they said that to you.

Midget I agree with cats2012. Surely you've ovulated much later in your cycle than they're assuming. When do you get your blood results?

I too am shocked at the medical advice you've been given Midget.

They do know that the clearblue gives weeks since conception not LMP don't they?
