Fingers crossed Athensgeorgia, it is so hard to differentiate between the symptoms that I just try not to focus on anything except the test now. Hope it's not too much of a painful wait. We all live in crazy town by the way but we are nice residents with good neighbours too look after us

Sorry to hear about early AF ButterflyBabe, I don't know why our bodies do this to us.

I am having a really low week, too much going on and finding it hard to de-stress and chill out. However I had my 3-5 day bloods back today and all was normal so that's a relief. 21 day bloods planned next. OH and I are also going away this weekend to relax and have some time-out (time-out from life not the other part )

Well I've started with hot flushes and have felt so sick on and off all day today but like I said if I don't get a BFP it will be very cruel to be going through all this.

CD1 for me:( which at least means I'm regularising, but had a funny positive feeling for no reason. Think we started BDing too late this month. Fingers crossed for the next one

Sorry AF arrived easily and Butterfly.

I started with a sore throat and blocked nose yesterday and hardly slept because of it. Doesn't help that I wasn't able to have any paracetamol because of my what if thinking. I'm trying to be strong and not poas especially when I didn't have any in and went in the £ shop yesterday in readiness so they're just staring at me.

Hope you get better soon AthensGeorgia - according to NHS, paracetamol is ok (don't take ibuprofen after 30 weeks).

Hope you are feeling better Athensgeorgia. I have a really sort throat today and feel a bit rubbish, falling bang on peak time. I'm going to just do a 'Monica'...hopefully you all will understand what that means :rotfl:

So I have a new issue/question...

On analysing all my cycles on FF from January, my ov date always has the positive OPK BEFOREHAND. However on the cycle we conceived the OPK is positive AFTERWARDS for 2 days. The difference between the data is I temped on the conceived cycle. I gave it up because it was too stressful though.

What would you take from this, if anything? I wonder if I am relying on the OPKs too much and shouldn't as they are not as good at detecting my ov date as I think (I know they are not the best guarantee).

Hey Rachy. My OPKs (cheapies) were always positive for 2-3 days in a row so FF tended to play around with when Ov date truly was. When I temped this was strikingly obvious - temp rise always occurred a couple of days after my first +ve.

I always BD'd for at least 2 days afterwards just to be sure - it may just be that you have a long surge and are catching the beginning. Do you keep testing once you've had a +ve?
