I think everyone TTC can appreciate being in crazy town at some point.

    100% :T
I had read the same thing Ratison and I tried it myself, 3days before AF due I got a negative on OPK but then I got my BFP so I don't know it its variant (most likely) person to person so defiantly don't get dishartened by it :D sometime you just need to POAS :rotfl:

  • Ratison I just did the nearly the same thing :D I did an ovulation test which was neg- first time it was neg so decided to do a cheapie preg test even though I'm four days earlier than I've ever had AF come on and my app says I'm not due for ages. Then I squinted at it for ages really carefully and then convinced myself there was a really faint line. Then I did a more expensive (Superdrug) test which was neg. Then I realised I was being a complete mentalist and stopped. I swear the cheapie tests are addictive!

Rachy I'm glad your GP was helpful. I just saw mine and she was fab, essentially told me to chill out and that it could take ages from coming of the pill and no one was going to rush me into IVF, she called me young :D Then she agreed to refer me to the fertility clinic anyway but said she'd put a year on the referral in case I miscounted as they would reject the referral if it hadn't been a year! She also told me to chill out about obsessively BDing and that there was little point in the week after my period and sperm hangs around five days anyway so we didn't need to do it every other day. OH is so happy :D I love my GP. I am having bloods too and they are testing for 'sex hormone B, Gbb, LH/FSH, prolactin, FBC, ESR, U&E, LFT, Bone profile, thyroid, B12 and Ferritin'. Not sure how many are PCOS related.

Feeling kind of optimistic, good luck to all.

So I tested about 1am this morning (went to bed at 8pm last night) on a One Step from EBay - and it definitely looked like there were two lines there...

Tested on a ClearBlue just now and there's a cross in the test window - so I got my positive!

I am so scared now though. I'm going to stick around here for a bit as I don't want to get ahead of myself.

Baby dust and good luck to all!

  • Just jumping on here - rachylou, I don't know if your area waiting times are the same as mine but both times my oh was booked in for his sa it was between an 8 and 12 week wait. I wasn't sure if you were aware it could be that long, and wouldn't want you to wait until the new year and then find out waiting times in your area are this long.x
  • Congratulations Ratison!:T
