This may be a silly question but is CM different after BD? DH and I dtd last night and today have had CM that's different to normal. It's not what I normally consider to be EWCM but is quite stretchy. Sorry for the tmi.0

Athens It's not a selfish post in any way, that's what we're all here for. I'm the same as saver, I wish I'd seen GP & started acupuncture sooner. And it sounds like you're maybe worrying about it a bit, so a chance to chat it over with your GP might put your mind at ease a bit. I think semen & arousal fluid can be quite similar to ewcm, but ewcm won't dissolve in water or sink into toilet paper while the other 2 will.
Got letter in today to make appointment with fc - feeling very scared right now.0 -
I updated Ovia last night. I clicked EWCM as that's what I had. I then looked back for the past few cycles and it's happened a few days after AF each time. I then went to the home page and it says I'm right on track. It says follicle-stimulating hormone will reach its peak a week into the menstrual cycle and then dip back down again before increasing in the fertile window.
I think maybe I'm just extra sensitive to changes now. So yes I do feel silly. I should pay more attention to the little squares of info.0 -

But at least things are moving. I know not everybody has the same problems but when TTC DD once I'd got my first appointment with the consultant things started moving quickly. It's the long process of getting your Dr to listen to you and refer you that I found the most difficult.0 -
Can I please be moved newthrift AF has gone earlier than I was expecting, not that I'm complaining though.
I think I'm going to make a more conscious effort to track my body this month and record everything on Ovia, my OH has finally started to take more of an interest in my monthly cycle. He just assumed that I can get pregnant at any time of the month and was shocked when I explained that the window of opportunity was literally a couple of days. I've never told him that because I didn't want him to think that I only wanted to DTD when I am OV'ing.0 -
So my 1st appt for fc is 20 Sept. I know logically I should be relieved that it came through so quickly & that things are moving, but it's kinda knocked me for 6. I can't really explain why, it just all seems very real & scary now
Athens no need to feel silly at all, emotions run very high with ttc, be kind to yourself.
Butterfly my hubby was the same, it's funny how little they actually seem to know about the whole process. When we were chatting about leading a healthier lifestyle & cutting down on alcohol, my hubby thought it was OK for him to party like mad for his birthday cos AF was due. I was really peeved off with him until he admitted he thought sperm was made every 5-7 days - he thought new sperm would be made by the time my next fertile period came around. Needless to say I re-educated him very quickly. :rotfl:0 -
Hi all. Sorry to hear what you are all going through.
Angel, please you have your appointment hopefully things will move a lot quicker for you now.
So hubby sa came back normal. High sperm count good morphology and motility.
As for me still no sign or ovulation. The clinic gave me an internal ultrasound and apparently it all looks normal and no sign of pcos so they aren't sure why I'm not having regular periods. Thyroid is all normal and apparently lh and fsh were low and in sync which is what they want. Have another blood test Tuesday to see if things have changed at all.0 -
