Good shout new thrift - I did the same in the end. I'd recommend just don't start testing too early as with long cycles it would be possible to run out, and also don't be disheartened if you get a lot of flashing smilies - I've had both only 1 and 9 days of them!!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
AF the old cowbag arrived yesterday, so I guess I'm at Day 2 of this cycle. I'm giving up with that MyDays App, it says my period isnt due for another 10 days so I need a more accurate one I think.
I dont do charting, opk's or basal temperature checking as I know I would just get a bit obesessed and probably getting upset!
However I do have Clomid so I'm looking forward to trying that again (apart from the hot flashes and headaches) and fingers and toes crossed!
And finally, baby dust and love to everyone!0 -
Thanks cats
I normally notice changes in my CM so going to try and use that + the predicted fertile period on my app to attempt to start testing around the right time. As I had thought otherwise I'll be using all 20 on one cycle  I don't think I've ever pee'd on so much money before :rotfl:

I'm still bleeding and feeling rubbish with symptoms that would make me think I was pregnant. I'm exhausted so trying to rest as much as possible. I am trying not to feel down but I just can't help it, much to OH's dismay as he feels utterly powerless and I hate making him feel rubbish
I just use the cheap OPKs Newthrift but I can understand you wanting to use something other than lines to tell you as they can be frustrating when faint. I go by the SMEP and they say to start them on day 10 so that might save you some wastage.0 -
Sorry to hear that Rachylou, it might be worth asking the doctor to check your iron levels in case the heavy bleeding is causing problems with your iron levels.0

Sorry to hear you got got new and Selina. Hope you're feeling better soon rachylou and everyone else is doing ok.
I'm still struggling majorly with cramps- they have woken me up several times this week. Also feel really fatigued and have had some nausea. Still no sign of AF since implant removal. Have done a bit of googling and it seems like generally feeling rubbish is quite common afterwards- possibly due to progesterone levels being a bit low. Am hoping it passes soon. 90% sure I've not caught as symptoms (the nausea) started before we'd BDed. And now I feel too rubbishy to want to BD!0 -
Hi all,
Hope everyone is ok, can I be updated to CD2 please?
I knew there was no chance of a BFP this month as I had a week on holiday with my family and OH had to work so completely missed BD'ing at OV.
On a brighter note Ovia has calculated my OV dates in September to fall during a week when me and OH are going away together so fingers crossed for lots of BD'ing :j0 -
Sorry to everyone whose been having bad news. Onwards and upwards.
CD2 for me please newthrift - AF arrived right on schedule yesterday...0 -
There seems to be a lot of posts of AF arriving this past week. Maybe there will be an abundance of BFP's posted next cycle.
Can you put me in the BD Zone please New. AF was shorter than normal and a lot lighter which happened the last time I had a long cycle then the next cycle was short so I'm hoping this may be a pattern and happens again (the short cycle that is).
I've been researching how to raise my progesterone and it seems like it's just a case of diet changes. It's mainly things I don't normally eat. I'm thinking of speaking to my GP to see if they'll prescribe Metformin again. I have an official PCOS diagnosis and it worked last time. As last time I was in my 20's I had to wait to be TTC for 12 months. This time I'm going in to cycle 8 and I'm 35 so may get it prescribed sooner. I'm not sure as I did conceive on my own last year albeit it ended in MC. That was after 2 years NTNP.0 -
8DPO for me, if I actually ovulated. Another blood test tomorrow to find out.Happiness can be found in even the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light - Albus Dumbledore
