It does seem very coincidental if so Rachy. Def tell them what's been going on. Have you had any tests for your irregular cycles? I know in my case it does just seem to be my lot in life as even being diagnosed hypothyroid hasn't helped, but there could be something there?

Ergh I have no useful advice I'm sorry I just want you to get some answers :-(

I haven't had any tests and TBH I thought my cycles were fine and they probably are. After coming off the pill, I had a period in 30 days and then they've been 28-30 days but one in March was 25, which took me by surprise as I had no symptoms leading up to it - unlike this one where I've had cramps and tingling boobs every day since last week. There was a full week of tender breasts during Feb cycle which baffled me and I really thought I'd caught but it was probably my body getting back to normal after OCP.

So whilst nothing has been consistent, I don't think they have been crazy either, esp not compared with some people here.

I know I'm mad but I'm going to buy a cheapie test and do one later today to see what it says. I have a FRER but not going to waste it. Would a CP mean a test will stay faint/positive for a while i.e. during/after a bleed?
  • Rachy just wanted to add that you may find that your cycles have changed after the pregnancy. I know mine have and I've heard a lot and read a lot that your body changes after pg. I get PMS symptoms now that I've never had before and OV symptoms are more obvious.

Not sure if that's a help or a hindrance to you.

My chemical preg the test stayed faintly positive for 3 days of bleeding then was negative on the 4th, but mine was when AF was 2 days late so don't know if it might be quicker the earlier it is. Sorry that's not much help!

_pale_ I don't think I've ever felt so sick!! Actually debating nipping to the little local shop at lunch for something with ginger in to try and ease it _pale_

Rachy make sure you tell the Dr everything, I don't really know what to say to help. I would of thought it would possibly be negative by now if it was a CP, but every body is diff and I really don't know. Prev PG really does make PMS symptoms so much stronger for some reason, I know it has with mine and for a couple of months it really threw me. Sending hugs to both you and athens xx

  • So the cheapie is a very strong negative, no faint line at all. I guess this helps me move on a little. It makes me worry about using FRER in future though as this is the second time a line has appeared and I haven't a clue whether it's been positive or evap.

If anyone wants to look at yesterday's test, it is on the countdown to pregnancy website image gallery and I am under the same username (just do a search on their page and it's the first link). The one from last month isn't logged under my name though.

I am going to explain to the doctor that both tests looked faintly positive but the first I shrugged off as being an evap line but this one has made me believe I am having chemical pgs - because that is 99.9% true of how I feel about them.

Newthrift - I am really hoping this sickness feeling means you are in fact pregnant.

I totally get this. I think I am probably all over the place. Ov has always been difficult for me to pinpoint though and I think I need the tools to help me, even though they stress me out.

The BBTs were probably truer than I thought this month since my temp was dropping massively and I have got AF early. When I got my BFP, they did stay up and rise so I have to remember that

Thanks Rachylou & angel! Well last time I did go to 40days AF arrived that night and I'm now 41 and nothing & no signs. I'm going shopping this morning so will be able to get some tests and might try later (depending how long I can hold a wee in haha).
I'm really hoping to see a +ve and DH said he thinks I am (which last time I was late he didn't think I was) so here is hoping!
