New - everything crossed for you still.
    Angel
at least there will be come answers in there. I know it's easy to say, but worrying about it won't change the results, whatever they are. *hugs*.
Athens - keep that chilled vibe going!
Rachy that is true, as it is inevitable that next time you will feel much more worried. A colleague of mine has just gone through similar after a previous stillbirth - she kept her second pregnancy proper quiet (some people never realised!), and she's the happiest new mother I've ever seen with her daughter. I really hope that it is the same for you.

I meanwhile am assuming I'm out this month, as starting to feel a bit PMS-y :( So just a waiting game for AF now. This seems like a very long TWW.
  • newthrifr[/B good luck. No AF is a very good sign I'm sure.

angel sorry to hear of your worries but they may book an appointment anyway. My Dh handed his sample in Friday and they called him yesterday to book an appointment for a week Wednesday. He is really worried but they told him it was just routine. You never know and answers one way or another is probably a good thing. My biggest fear is going through all this a.d them getting an unexplained infertility which would make things worse I think.

Good luck to everyone in the 2ww.

Angel hopefully it is just a routine appointment to discuss the results, I know some dr's prefer to do it that way whatever way the results are.
Rachylou you are bound to be more nervous next time and although that moment of excitement when telling your mum & others who know won't be quite the same it will be special in its own way!
Athens FX for you, glad that you found yourself coping better that expected.
    Firebird hopefully it's not AF!

No AF, 2days late and another BFN (CBD this time as all I had left). The longest cycle I've ever had is 40days which is tomorrow so will just have to see what happens. I'm now out of HPT's and won't be going near to a shop until at least Thurs unless I made an extra special journey, which I don't think I will bother tbh. I'm still sore boobed, but crampy and creamy CM, I cried at a random song yesterday for no apparent reason (it has no relation to anything whatsoever just a slightly sad song)!! if I OV'd a week later than what I thought then I'm assuming I'm out as we didn't BD really that week. Currently on a BD break now until I know either way as following a bit of research we have read that avoiding it during the first trimester is recommended as a caution if you have history of miscarriage so we have agreed it won't be easy but it will be worth it.
Phew we this is a bit of a long post to normal, think I just have a lot spinning in my head atm...

  • Rachy sorry you feel that way. I think you'll find next time people will have a different sort of happiness for you. I do it now when I know someone has been ttc for a while finally conceives my genuine feeling of being happy for them outweighs the I wish it was me feeling.

I feel the same as the above. I have lots of babies already around me but feel no jealousy, I have two heavily pregnant friends who have gone through issues and so have nothing but happiness and support for them - it's the ones who I know nothing about who have announced at same time or just before/after me, which is a bit selfish of me, however they have no idea I feel this way and I just avoid their posts on FB. I don't have anyone who I see, which is easier. And of course anyone on here getting their BFP makes me happy.

Newthrift - God this must be torture. Is there any chance your GP would do a blood test?

No, I know that last time I thought I was skipping a cycle they said they would do nothing unless I skipped the one after, however that was one of the men DR's over the phone and the following day AF arrived (40day cycle on that one). If it gets to 1wk late and still BFN I will book an appointment with the lady DR and go speak to them in person see if it will make a difference.

It clearly depends on the GP surgery. When I went in very early days (can't remember why) and I mentioned about BFN but no AF and I probably wasn't even late, she offered to do a blood test for me. I said no as I was happy to wait. I got AF when I got home so was a bit embarrassed but relieved I never said yes to it. I have a feeling they would do one if I asked - especially since I've complained about them sending me a midwife appointment.

Did I mention my dentist did the same with not recording my loss? I went in June when pregnant and obviously got free treatment. Then I needed an emergency appt recently and I told the receptionist over the phone to note it on my records so there was no embarrassment/awkwardness and to explain I now paid for treatment. So all fine at that appointment but then I needed another last week. The girl on the desk: "So I see you are pregnant?" Me: "No" Girl: "Oh, have you had the baby" Me: "No" whilst shaking head and almost in tears. The girl looked horrified so I explained one of her colleagues obviously hadn't noted it down even though I told them to :(

Thanks everyone, prob is just routine that they call him in. I'm such a worrier, I always think the worst. Although if they do find something, at least we know & can deal with it, & hopefully look at some treatment options. Midget I'm a bit like you, would dread unexplained fertility.

Rachy that's awful, especially having to deal with it in front of everyone.

New hope you know either way pretty soon.
  • So I had a very faint line on FRER this morning. Didn't want to say anything until I had a strong line so have just gone about with my day trying not to get too excited. My OH saw it too and he figured it was defo a positive.

    Now I'm bleeding :(

It was light spotting then a bit more and last check was bright red so I don't think it can be mistaken for implantation but it's a hard one to call as it is early for AF (CD25) and I usually get more warning/feel different.

My head is all over the place :(
  • Oh no Rachy that's confusing. How many dpo are you? Is this your second cycle after MC?

I had this conversation on here not too long ago that when I was pg with DD I mistook implantation for AF. It was red for 1 whole day but light. AF was erratic in those days and I didn't know implantation bleeding was thing.

FX this turns out to be good news.
