Thanks for posting this info liz...I know from a week ago tha they are already down to £2.95, but I forgot to let the people know...I bough some really in fashion patterns...It's just finding the time now to do it...I was wondering whether it is worth starting a sewing pattern sharing or swapping scheme, so that everybody will have the opportunity to get some patterns free as well. I know they are quite expensive, but could anyone think of any way to get this working? Would it be a good idea do you think?:pSealed Pot Challenge 2012 #1502:)
Debt free by 2014, hopefully earlier...:T0 -
It could work, but we would need to set something up independently of MSE: It's in the rules that we're not meant to swap/sell/or share through here in case Martin gets into trouble if something went wrong.
Officially as well, under copyright laws you are only supposed to make a pattern up once. i.e. - even if you make 3 tops from the same pattern for your own use, you're technically breaching copyright.
It would be a great idea otherwise, and something I would like to do if it was workable.0 -

Ooh, cheap sewing patterns, lovely. I'm off to claim some of my mum's stash of fabric!"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -

Happens to all of us I think!! I've been married just over two years and I'm still waiting for my funny turn to end!!! :rotfl: A big challenge sounds good to me - I've got masses to do and, thanks to my 5 week old baby, nowhere near enough time to do it!! I'm up for the challenge if you are! :xmassign:Lightbulb Moment: January 2006

I've just restarted the jumper, as I ended up with too many stitches! Let me know if you want to do something similar and I'll get a challenge going.0
