Make a morsbag
If you have a spare half hour or so, make yourself a morsbag! Better still, organise some friends to come round and make some together as a "pod".Use an old bedsheet or curtain and follow the downloadable instructions by clicking below. Then marvel that even if you have made just one, you have saved the world from another 80 monsters per year clogging up the ecosystem.
Have fun, spread the word. Please send in your pictures of you making or using your bags for use to post on the site!

Brilliant!
Going into hospital tomorrow, so something to do while I wait for the results.
One of these will earn me 1p per tesco shop too.
Thank you.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Just made one! (minus the morsbag label tbh - I only have a laser printer, so cannot print on the transfer paper)
took me 45 mins from start to finish (that is, iron out, sewing m/c out, make it, put everything away, stand back and admire). I used to teach textiles ('sewing'), so I think their claim of 20 minutes is a little ambitious!
Pretty proud of it too......:cool:0 -
I used to love doing things like this! Have had 2 babies since. My Mum makes a lot of their clothes so I'm sending her this link too.
I need bags of motivation to get sewing machine out, blow off cobwebs, check cottons etc !!!
Going to put it on my to do list as bags for life are getting very worn and these look gorgeous.
Thanks surfsister :T0 -
Fantastic!
I've been looking for an EASY bag pattern for ages and this looks ideal!
