Did mine on the 14th still pending bank repayment,
Never took this long b4, just logged on hmrc and its dated the 5th how offen do they update there system

its an absolute joke isnt it guys - im so annoying and frustrated like you all are..

im in the same boat i pay 20% tax througout the year so this is MY money that im owed theres nothing to debate about that and a little expenses which being self employed your allowed to claim a proportion back anyway.

but the way this is conducted is terrible to make some wait and issue the rest, shocking!

i also had that letter a couple days later saying "we have deducted NI contributions from your tax return" quick enough to do that then keep me waiting for weeks on end, its such a poor service!!!

then they have the CHEEK to send me a letter this week saying "its time to do your self assessment return" are they just poking me with a stick for the crack or what?

pure joke of a system! roll on next week guys when the 11th hits we better all ring them and give it to them!!!

I've been payment pending since the 7th. Rang yesterday again and now it has changed from the 11th to the 17th, no reason as to why.

SA submitted 6th and bank repayment requested 8th April, i was told on the 21st it had been selected for their security checks also and they was expected back the 11th may. I had noticed last week that the amount pending had dropped by over £600 last week and got no reply from them when I asked why this was. Changed from pending to bank payment 9th of may this morning. I hope this helps anyone.

I suspect that they are having some sort of IT system problem (that they would obviously be reluctant to confess to) and are waiting for that to be fixed before making further payouts.
