    Really? You think so?
We may have to resort to handbags at dawn to resolve this. :D
Are you up for it? ;)

At dawn I'm up for nothing!

It was explained to me that it was because I made others feel guilty not because they wanted me to relax/enjoy myself or any of the other reasons I was given.

Sadly that attitude still prevails, my family think I'm boring because I don't want to get wasted with them.........

Totally agree about mustard! But sprouts, I could eat a whole plate full of them!

I love mustard! But Dijon (on sarnis).
Or I have a fab Dijon mustard with horseradish.
And wholegrain for cooking, especially Indian potatoes.
    Yum.

And sprouts are fab. But only if you cook them al-dente. :)

I loathe sprouts or any other type of "greens" but I love all types of mustard. Wholegrain mustard in ham sarnies and mustard sauce with rabbit are a couple of my favourites.

Sprouts bleurgh. Before I stopped doing Christmas I had them because it was traditional. Yes, I went out and bought two sprouts.

Actually, I wonder how much of my decision to stop doing Christmas was subconsciously down to the sprouts...

Oooh mustard with horseradish sounds fab, but I guess it came from a small specialist place?

Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Do you still get the tablet to add to the dried peas?

My OH who moved here from the South had never seen mushy peas.
    Or black pudding.
    Or tomato sausage.

We have black pudding down south a lot - it's very popular served with scallops.

I have no idea what tomato sausage is?????

There are some rather usual combos mentioned here

    Chips & gravy
    Chips & gravy sandwich!!!!!
    Fish & chips with beans.....
Mashed potato with a roast dinner.

I'm a purist - like like salt & vinegar on my fish & chips.
I like mint sauce on lamb only.
Ketchup is for burgers, hot dogs & chips - nothing else.

I usually have Bucks Fizz and smoked salmon sandwiches.:o

I've never heard of smoked salmon sandwiches for breakfast, smoked salmon with scrambled egg but not in a sandwich - I don't like smoked salmon for breakfast though.

I'm with you on the Buck's Fizz though.

I think that my idea of breakfast may be others' idea of an early lunch.:o

I like sprouts too Georgie. Me and my OH do actually. :) I know that lots of people dislike them though! For Sunday dinner (every 4 weeks or so,) we have a dozen button sprouts with a bit of mash, some gravy, a couple of parsnips, a couple of roasties, a bit of chicken, some mixed veg, a spoonful of stuffing, and a mini Yorkshire pud!

    I like mustard too! (Occasionally.)
