No, it wasn't. It was: "I'm glad I don't have friends like you."
There is no mistaking exactly what you meant with that nasty comment.0 -

I've been ridiculously drunk and have friends in a similar state but i'd never go as far as putting a tampon in someone
I think you're conflating the two moments. I don't think anyone has ever though 'I've drank three bottles of wine, so I know what I'll do, I'll practise how to avoid toxic shock syndrome with my BFF' or 'Let's play a cunning game of hide the string'.

If someone is capeable of getting that drunk that they either lose control of their bowels and or can't wipe their own backside then they'll be left to their own devices I'm afraid. Thankfully it's something I've never had to encounter.
Exactly that^^^^
I'm the daughter of an alcoholic and even I would balk at cleaning up after them if they lost control of bodily functions, not that they ever did that I was aware of.
I also like a drink or two myself but have never yet in 30+ years even as much as wet myself/the bed no matter how drunk I've got. It takes a special kind of drunk to get in that sort of state. The most I've ever done is post crap on Internet forums whilst drunk :rotfl:0 -

That might be the very time they need a friend. You don't have to approve of their behaviour, but you can still be a friend.
Matthew 5:43-48New International Version (NIV)
Love for Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I would like also to say that just two weeks ago, a customer had too much too drink and on top of that had an epileptic fit
Not my bar, not my concern
Yet she was a female in a mess and needed help. So even though I was in socializing in different company I didn't hesitate in going in the ladies, forcing the door, getting her in recovery and cleaning her up so she wasn't embarrass when the paramedics arrived
A stranger to me really
I'm not looking a gold star, I'm just saying that sometimes you can and do go above and beyond what you really think is skanky to help some one in distress
If that makes me weird, then that's ok, I'll live with your judgement
Not weird at all I'd (hope to) do exactly as you did and help the girl no matter what the reason she found herself in such a state. You helped save her life so should be proud :A0 -
On the contrary, it sounds very christian. Judgemental, superior and telling people how they should live their lives. Isn't that what it's all about?;)
No actually. Just your perception of what you think it is.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I also drink more than is probably good for me at times but can say I've never fallen foul of the law in doing so. If alcohol is causing you a problem then you need to seek help.
Does anybody on this forum actually read people's posts?? Or do they just see what they want to see to suit their own agenda? Is there a badge for it somewhere that I don't know about?
After falling foul to it yourself last week with your voucher situation I'd have thought you'd know better but it's good to see you join the pack of hungry hyenas, well done *slow clap*Saved so far - £28,890.97

They do and some read between the lines too . Most alcoholics aren't as good at concealing their issues as they think.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I know you fancy yourself as a Miss Marple type I've seen many of your posts where you 'read between the lines' and believe me if I had a problem I'd have no troubles admitting it. I said I HARDLY DRINK ANYMORE. The last time I even had a drink was at new year so....assume what you want about me I really don't care, I was giving an example to Torry that because of some behaviour I've had IN THE PAST we would no longer be friends anymore, despite the fact that one facet of your personality doesn't sum up the whole.
I never said my mum passed out in gardens and didn't have a job either! She was hardly sleeping on park benches nursing her bottle of Jack! Although one time she did fall asleep with the chip fryer on and almost burned the kitchen down and once she stuck her head in the oven not realising it was on and set her hair on fire
