Great use of all the fruit and veg, I love cake with fruit in it but only dh and I would eat it so only have it occasionally!
Hope the financial bits and pieces are sorted soon, great to be able to use the bathroom fittings you saved.

Thanks for sharing @janb5
ultimately you can make the base cake and put any fruit you have on the top, including tinned if needed. I also love that it’s made and mixed in a saucepan. Such a light sponge.

So time is just flying by, still feels rather like March in my head though despite that!Survived melting last week and we had rather a busy week anyway so it was just busy and melting. Hopefully this week can be more productive as it’s cooler.Payday has been and gone, still to do the money shuffle. May crack on with that in a minute before the whole house is up.Some work being done this week on the house, so definitely bills to pay for that. But money all saved. Also DH found a door handle we’d forgotten we’d bought last year when looking for something else in the shed. So only 1 to buy which save d a few ££.Won £25 from Ernie 😃 never won before - so excited over £25! Do love ‘free’ money - particularly when interest rates are so low at the moment. Sorted out some other financial things and have a few more to sort this week, need to chase one bank who seem to make it entirely difficult to close your account even though it has zero balance. Yet another bank was so helpful for the same task.Went to the wholesalers for the first time yesterday since lockdown. Was useful. But also a reminder that it will be great when we get our pantry built so we can put bulk buys in there. Hopefully not too long to wait now.6

I'm exactly the same as you PF - in my head it's still Easter - not skidding towards the end of the year...

Hey PF, just caught up! Thanks for your lovely posts on my diary, I really appreciate it. Well done for surviving the heat! It’s been almost unbearable hasn’t it! We’ve got a wholesale card M@kro
i think. I’ve not had chance to have w proper look. But wasn’t sure how it compared with buying own brand stuff from the supermarket, as prices seemed quite high still as it was branded. Is there anything you regularly find cheaper?3
