My bed and the 3 girls beds changed
3 loads out on the line
OH made nests with the 2 smalls

Best go feed the pests and get the food sorted for tonight.. it is all done I just need to slice the potatoes and layer them in the dish.. with the gammon.. might chuck in a tired looking leek too!.. baguette and veggies with it I think. The small can have freezer crap because they won't eat this.. more for me!!

I need to see what veg I have that will need freezing which won't be eaten before we go to OH's mothers and then get the rest round to DS1.. he will eat anything! but I have some slightly sprouty potatoes I will send to him and a cauliflower at least.. and maybe a few pears for the Babian.. and a bag of sweet potatoes.. I'll just go look instead of writing about them lol.

Successful trip to seamstress with DD2.

We went back to hers for lunch, and I had a little snooze and then came home.

We live in a cul-de-sac off a cul-de-sac. They are supposed to be resurfacing the other road over the next few days. We have been warned to move our cars as access cannot be guaranteed.

First day was supposed to be today. But there is no sign of any workmen, or any work being started. Makes me so cross.

Glad seamstress trip went well CY. Hope the road surfacing gets done with minimal inconvenience to you and the other residents.

Been mils and done some weeding and seeding. Back lawn seems to ihave been adopted as a giant litter tray for either local cats or foxes it was covered and minging. Picked up the borders as I was weeding but couldn't face doing the lawn so I'll have to warn Dh before he mows!

Going to go and make a start on tea now, thinking veggie lasagne as I can do that now and reheat once we get back.
Mental note for tomorrow to sor that recipie out I'm looking for dusty.

Can someone stop the merry-go-round please? I'd like to get off. :(
(((HUGS))) If I was nearer, I'd happily take the houndlets off you for a bit; they could run round my totally fenced-in back garden to their hearts' content.

Frizzle Auntie Wolfy prescribes a cast iron frying pan, upside the head. Good for knocking sense into errant DH's. ;)

    Back from football.
Took my camping chair and a :coffee: in a travel mug, DD sat on my knee and read her school book (and kept my lap warm). Such a nice evening, although a little chilly when the sun dipped behind the trees. DS is really coming on with his skills since he started training with this group.

So this afternoon I did my nails (no glitter, but a bright, summery coral) then I stripped my bed, turned the mattress (and stuck the vac nozzle down the gaps - my word but the carpet looked grey underneath lol it was so dusty) and remade my bed. Also vacced kids rooms. So apart from a bit of gibble and packing stuff in the spare room, we are all set upstairs.

Tomorrow I need to collect DD prescription, then I will pack hand luggage, then I want to vac and dust all downstairs. And sort kitchen gibble (a lot of which will be done with hand luggage).

We've decided we're going out for tea tomorrow. To F&Bs. DS said can we just have starters and pudding, lol. He wants garlic pizza bread, and the ice cream sundae that comes with the little sweet jars, lol. Bless him.

In fact, I wonder if my mum will want to join us... Might give her a call.

    Hey,

I haven't posted for a while but I thought I'd get some cleaning done while I have a week off work. I moved in to my first flat last month and I'm still settling in. Trying to get into a routine when it comes to cleaning and it seems to be going well so far.

    Wednesday List:
    WUDUPA
    Clean kitchen surfaces
Wipe away cobwebs on ceiling and skirting boards
    Hoover and mop floors
    [STRIKE]Change and wash bedding[/STRIKE]

Still not feeling great today so I only got round to changing the bedding, putting a load of washing on and doing ome of the washing up.
Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.

Evening ladies - last post of today before I head off to snoozy land...

Fabulous day out today - Sun was shining. All the children behaved. Friend treated me to lunch with hot chocolate then invited us to hers so I could put my feet up with a cuppa. :D DH phoned to say he'd be late home, but pitched up with a Chinese takeaway, so pleased with him too lol

Thank you! If you were closer, I'd already be there lol. I love my dogs but the conditions we are living in are not good for big, boisterous hound-types. DH has agreed to move the chickens into the paddock, so we can let the dogs have the run of the orchard and garden. When this will happen though, is the multi-million pound question.

Have fun. You seem to be winding down ready for your well deserved holibobs. Hope you have a fantastic time x

More than me! :rotfl: I had a day of Easter egg hunting, stone collecting, peacock spotting, fountain paddling and a little bit of flirting with some nice gardeners. Oh, and did I mention the hot chocolate? I did? Well, it was lush ;)

Flying? Yup - I've put out the bins for the morning.

Yesterday visited horse piddle for boob squashing X-ray thing. Still hurts today. Don't be put off going though. Everyone else I spoke to said it didn't hurt.

2 loads dried outside. New Shirley line cover purchased and fitted.
    Ground floor henried
3 bin bags of shredding done. New shredder purchased as I had worn the old one out.

Sold a few items on FB
Stuck a few items on flea bay

Scanned some documents and emailed to ds1

Ds2 had a meltdown whilst baking orange biscuits. He had trouble separating yolks from whites so bungee the whole eggs in the mixture. His TA wrapped the mixture in greaseproof paper and sent it home. We put it in to cake cases and baked it. It has turned out like little flat cakes which stick to the paper but taste lovely.

    Lovely flowers Narco X

Glad Miss Frizzle is more settled X

Dizzy calm dogs vibes and move chickens fast vibes to mr Dizzy X

LW Glad you have a doggy visitor. Hope the field dries out soon for your walks X

Piggers hope your visit to your outlaws is a short one X

Last day of school for this term for ds2 tomorrow. Best make some plans for what he can refuse to do.

Off to bed. Night night x
