I have a sock Peggy thingummy too :D many years ago the DH put a hook in the ceiling of the airing cupboard for me, so it often lives in there with smalls, swims socks or anything else that needs to dry when it's wet out.

Having a bit of a mare with my nieces birthday pressie :( Gah. My brother sent me a website which only had adults clothes first. So I've checked with him and he sent me the correct one - today. They ship from the US. They are in Oz. Her birthday is Saturday! And it's $30 for the shipping! Which is nearly as much as the blimmin clothes they suggested... Flipping heck, he don't half like to make things awkward. Trying to find if there is an Oz stockist... will await further instructions... She might be getting money at this rate, although I'd rather not as I managed to get her sister a suitable gift a couple of weeks ago...

    Anyhow.

Kiddies had school disco which they enjoyed, then I made them tidy the conservatory after mwahahaha so we are all straight downstairs as I did the kitchen after dinner (even mopped :T).

When we came up at bedtime, I realised I'd stripped both their beds too <doh> so dash of bed-making tonight, but bedrooms are all tidy and sorted now.

Think I'm kind of getting used to this being at home lark ;)

Lovely to see you posting CY - keep taking it easy x

Not had a good day. Again. Dogs trashed the caravan during the night and I mean trashed. Bin emptied and contents eaten then vomited back up, sofas chewed, dining chairs chewed, carpet ripped up, curtains torn etc. I'm guessing the shooting in the fields in the night spooked them. Ended up in tears at a friend's house rather than slay the hounds.

Can someone stop the merry-go-round please? I'd like to get off. :(

    Hi all

Ohhh Valli home made marmalade?! If only we were real neighbours instead of virtual ones. Sigh.

Nice to hear from you CY, there was an hour wait for blood tests last time we were at hospital so the consultant said we could get it done at the docs. Take care.

So, paid job no. 1, home to bring washing in, off to job no. 2, home to walk dog and sort out tea, off back to job no. 1 to check for an e-mail, gym class, home to dust and hoover LR and kitchen. Washing up done, kitchen tided and clean washing put away. All of which took me from half six this morning to nine tonight. But I feel pleased with what I have got done.

Planning lunch out tomorrow. Will start work early so I can leave early. This means I wont get much flying done or anything or job no. 2 but I am at home tomorrow night (I think)

Oh Dizzy, poor you, can it really get worse? Words fail me but have a big comforting, squishy hug. Our dog shredded the flooring in our office one night when he must have been scared. That was bad enough.

Dizzy- hugs. You are really going through the mill at the moment.
CY- make sure you are putting your feet up.
YL- wow! You've had a busy day!!
Not a happy frizzle house tonight. OH and I have had words. He was sleeping in the other room anyway because of little miss and I glad because I still haven't calmed down!
I didn't get a lot done this morning because little miss had been so clingy. I even tried dusting with her in a sling!! Lol! I made a OH some lunch and took it over to his work and then took the boys to a soft play area with a friend. On the way back I did the weekly shop. I had told OH that the place was s bit of a mess. When he got back he said I should be doing housework rather than going out all the time. So that wound me up. He doesn't seem to understand that even when I'm home all day I don't get as much done as I used to! Then I had arranged to go for s walk with a friend. We are both runners so used to going out at least three times each in the week. As I'm not allowed to run yet I am making up for it with a weekly walk. As it was school holidays we decided to do it one evening (after checking with OH first!!!) that wasn't good enough as he would have to cook their dinner (after leaving it all out for them). Grrr. Just fed up. I'm not meeting my own expectations but now not meeting his! Which are normally quite low! Anyway another night with me and little miss in a king size bed! Much better company!
Living room completed tonight while little miss had a little nap in her swing! Clothes sorted out this morning too!

Hugs for Dizzy, there seems to be no end of hassle for you at the moment.
CY just keep waving to us from the sofa.

I got home late, exhausted and almost despondent as it looks like no way I'm going to finish the amount of report writing I had wanted to do (and needed to really - not that they can do anything if I'm not there to tell off) let alone packing. Today's student took an hour longer than I expected and tomorrow's has MH issues so I imagine will also be long.

So I've cooked dinner and that's about it.

Back to report writing now. Mr N kindly said we needn't go down to his brother's till Sat am - planned to go Fri night and help him with some gardening on Sat, then go and collect my mum to take us to the docks on Sun.

Birdies - it isn't moulting time is it? One of my poor little fairies now appears to have no tail!! He had one a few days ago. Don't know if he had a narrow escape with a sparrowhawk or something.

Narco.. could a lost tail be the result of a fight over a lady??

Hugs for Dizzy.. Those dogs are nothing but trouble.. I don't think I could keep them with that much destruction going on.

DS3 has his college induction tomorrow.. everything crossed it goes well.. he REALLY needs to be out of the house for something.. not sure how we will get him there but if I have to I will rope in my mother to taxi him the days OH can't.. he WILL go.. he NEEDS to go!!

    DW been on again.

DD3 actually did empty the bins upstairs.. she has to pack her gubbins for going to Oh's mums too.. I REALLY don't want to go.. I can't sleep there the bed is beyond unconfortable and makes my hips and back hurt at the best of times.. I can't sleep in my own bed I stand no chance in someone elses.. I may just cry and demand to come home sooner, or not go.. or something.. I wish the girls were old enough that OH could take them by himself.. not to wish ther lives away because I love them being little and cute, but wishing I could stay at home... can you imagine how much I'd get done in 5 days??? My house would sparkle!!!

At least I can have a shower.. the one saving grace.

I feel really mean.. I don't want to keep OH from his family but I really don't feel up to going.. we didnt go there for the better part of a year because of their drama and yet her I am saying 'yeah of course I'll go' .. I am actually incapable of saying no aren't I?

Tomorrow I need to ring about this sofa, sort DS3.. ooh.. good job I just checked times.. he isnt there until next week! !

I will sort that bedding tomorrow then.. get the sheets washed and changed and do something productive!

OH didn't run to tip today so he will be doing that tomorrow.. if I have to starve him unto submission.

I want to get the loo and bathroom mopped too.. I may delegate to DD2.. Shes done next to nothing this week.. I'm such an evil parent!

    Nest time anyway..

There have been 2 of them together, I assume a pair, and they are both still together so either she isn't put off by his lack of tail or he sacrificed it fighting for her. Assuming I have the sexes the right way round....they look the same. And talking of sex......the frogs have done their cuddling in secret as there is now frog spawn in the big pond but no activity seen............
