Morning all. Lovely photo Mrs MP. Glad you had a nice day Ionafan. Hugs and spoons where needed.
Looks like the car will be an insurance job, more damage discovered yesterday including dented door but at least we can use it in the meantime.
The gas servicer did not turn up yesterday. Grrrr.
Today was going to be all about me, a day to myself BUT so far, I have been up since 5.15 to take DH to work, sorted breakfast out for the dogs, and dyed my hair. Just as I was enjoying a soak in the bath, the gas man turned up. All sorted now and a washload is in the machine.
Still to do:
Washing up
Walk dogs
Bath dogs
Pick DH up from work
Hoover through
Sort out recycling/rubbish
And please please I hope to get some time in the garden.
I hope everyone is having a great day.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Sorry for non-appearance in thread so far. Monday I had to go to hospital for blood tests, which was a bit weird as it was deserted. The rest of the day was a write off - I was exhausted and spent most of it asleep.
Yesterday was my second set of chemo. Supposed to be 11.30, but they rang and postponed until 1pm. Joys of following a bank holiday I suppose.
DH is working from home to keep an eye on me. This has nothing to do with England playing cricket on the telly later.....
Haven't had chance to read back over the thread so hope everyone is doing well. I feel okay today, but the next few days are the danger period.
Thank you again for all your support. It really does mean the world to me.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Hugs CY it sounds really draining, make sure you get plenty of rest and let the others run round after you and give you lots of tlc.
Just sorted the post out and nipped postbox with some outbound. Insurance, ds2s college place and some plants for the garden posted off. Just tidying table then nipping out in the garden for a bit.SPC~12 ot 124

Shop we went to was really nice, it's a discount outlet the dresses were from £100-£495, you don't make appt you go in and they give you a place on their order of service rail then pick four dresses and wait for your card to get to the front of the rail the changing rooms were huge with big seating are in front and they let you take photos with no hard sell at all. Well definately go back nearer the time. They even did bridesmaid/prom dresses and if you told them your prom after you got your dress they promised to make sure no one else got the dress in the same colour as you.SPC~12 ot 124

HTH
Now me, I would (and have) put out towels first, and made sure they hit the sun first! For socks etc I have one of those hangers with pegs attached, and I have doubled up with two socks on each peg! That is suspended on the line by the prop so it's as high as it can go. I have managed to get almost all the washing out on both lines. I have another load in the washer which I will do in the morning and the laundry basket is still half full *sigh*.
Now to make my last batch of marmalade for this year; I froze the oranges;) and boiled them up last night. So they're cool enough to handle.
Lovely to see you Cycling and fingers crossed for successful treatment.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
After I posted that Valli I thought towels first makes more sense as the you haven't got heavy wet stuff hanging round making indoors smell damp. Funny how once you see something written it changes how you view it.
Still sunny here so hopefully you'll get it all dry.
You also reminded me I have one of those little peg sock/pants hangers somewhere, must find it.
Thank you for the lovely comment about dd3 photo pigpen. I really liked that dress as well.SPC~12 ot 124

Washing out on line here, undies on little peg thingy too!
Good to 'see' you CY, keep resting.
I have done 30 minutes on rebounder, taken the dogs for their first walk, sorted rubbish and recycling, watered all plants in greenhouse and cleaned the car. Just had the quote for the repairs £1600 which is actually the deposit for the venue for DDs wedding. I could cry, but I'm made of much sterner stuff.
Just having an early lunch. I then plan to take the dogs for another (short) walk, then bath them and hoover through before picking DH up from work. Then it really must be me time.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all!
4 lots of washing to go out...I am wondering if I'll have enough line and, if not, what to prioritise!
I have one of those hanging racks that hang on the line (normally get them from a pound shop!!). I then put socks (paired up in one peg)and bras on it. If it looks like rain it is much quicker to whip it off the line!!Grocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
Lovely to see you, CY, feet up, I hope? X
I'm procrastinating about packing but in the process I have cleaned and mopped the upstairs bathrooms, lol, it's usually the other way round
Really need to sort toilettries.
Kids have school disco later, all but one of DD dresses are at my mums. The one she wanted isn't here *shrugs* she said "ok I'll have to be a rose princess then..."
I have "done" my toenails, using nail wraps in a pretty pink and beige check design lol, looks cute. Not sure how long it will last. Ought to laquer over the top really. Might do that now so I can procrastinate a bit longer :rotfl:
Also dusted and vacced my room, washed smelly boy bedding (is it right that his room smells of boy when he's only 7???) and offloaded an icecream maker for a few £ :T
Have posted cards due while we are away, and sorted out my course fees.
Done lots, but none of what I plannedBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0
