Bossymoo have a lovely holiday.
I'm pretty much packed now; just a few last minute 'bits' so I've just stopped for "lunch" then I'll get my head down and see what I can do with reports. Possible I may have 2 completed to send this eve, fingers crossed. May even take another to BIL tomorrow in case it's rainy or I can get some time in while the 'boys' are working in his garden (which is their plan). We pick up my Mum on Sun am then Mr N will drop mum and I at port.

See you all in a couple of weeks. Must say I'm looking forward to some sleep after all the last few weeks' work!

Have a lovely holiday each bossy narco pigpen and anyone else who's going away that I missed.
Pigpen hope the bed isn't as uncomfortable as you remember

All the summer stuff out of the shed ready to set out over the weekend.
Overnight guests have had breakfast and dinner and set off for their respective homes.
Done a fair bit of tidying so it's not looking too shabby here going for a cuppa then will sort out ds1 some food think he's got a gig tonight so not sure what time he'll be back.

Carpet now being laid but bed will be too heavy for me to take the bases upstairs and DH now at work till nearly midnight, so think it will be new mattress on the floor tonight.

I just want the fitters to go so I can at least start to get my home and garden looking straight again.

Hi all,

Been awol as I've been at mum and dads since Tuesday. I got back last night, and have just got back from paid stuff, so there's no point me looking at the lists now, I'm just going to catch up with the dailies plus a bit of tidying up.
OH has been home alone for two days, and today it was just him and the girls, so the place is totally trashed.

Hope all those going on holiday, or away somewhere have a great time, I am a bit jealous but on the plus side I have no more paid stuff until Thursday, yay, and then the maiden voyage of the caravan to look forward to next weekend (yikes).

dizzy , glad you had a better day (yesterday I think, I'm all mixed up). You seem to be going through the mill at the moment, but it will improve, honestly!

Iona, I also use the term biscakes, it is what happens when I make cakes or biscuits. Ps I've said this before but your days surely have about forty hours in them!

Anyway, off to make tea for the girls, me and OH having takeaway (hooray!) in honour of the diet which begins on Monday.

Went into town today and did some shopping and also finally got round to changing my address at the bank. I've only been living here a month now. Did some washing up then created about 3 times as much after tea.

I am here, working lots and doing my best to keep on top of the basics. Might be more paid stuff tomorrow but DH is making plans to go out somewhere tomorrow afternoon I think. Happy hols to those who are going away.
