Not.
I bet you're not at all bothered about the GE in June either, are you?
What odds on the SNP losing 12 at least, from results like this?
And more if they don't buck up their p-poor campaigning.
Excuses, if's and but's :rotfl: You don't seem all that happy with the result and maybe you are realising that SNP is still well in control in Scotland.
Even SNP supporters didn't think they would get more seats0 -
If the SNP was winning the argument about a second referendum being required then they would've had those seats from Labour instead of the Tories doing it.
Making out the SNP only campaigned on local issues whilst everyone else only campaigned on independence is a diversion.
I still think the SNP peak was the last general election.
The SNP took most Labour voters during and immediately after the indy ref. That was the SNP surge and taking Labour seats in 2015. Things are realigning now into Union/Independence. It's where those Labour voters still left now go during an independence campaign that's the question over the next year or two.
The SNP certainly did campaign on local issues. As did the Greens. Labour and the Tories campaigned on 'no to a 2nd ref' basis to the exclusion of everything else. However, Labour probably gifted the Tories more votes by doing so since the Tories are by far the more credible party on a 'no ref' ticket. This is why Labour lost so many seats to the Tories. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Dear lord.
Clearly the edict from on high (SNP PR) is to ignore what actually took place and focus on the increase in numbers due to the boundary changes. Victory!
Hahaha.
Yet when you compare to 2012 they're down. The proportions are not increasing as we are told they should as Indy is "winning the argument because - nasty Tories". There is no momentum.
Peak Indy and peak SNP have come and gone. Welcome to the future.
None of this is personal to me. Just enjoy calling out B.S. It's ridiculously easy on this thread.0 -

Increase in the number of councillors at the expense of Labour. After all it would be the natural home of the disillusioned "working" class. After all this is for Local Councils and one would hope that the current encumbrant's are doing a cracking job. Tackling issues at ground level. Labour maybe in meltdown but not the way some would have expected it to play out. Corbyn isn't going to be at the helm forever. At this rate a matter of weeks. Given his complete absence today.0 -
Will Ms Sturgeon ever utter a sentence that doesn't include the 'Tories' or 'Westminster' words.
Are those her best cards she has to play? Surely at some point she has to focus on her owned perceived positives?0 -

I'm calling out your BS...
2012 SNP were 30 seats ahead of second place
2017 SNP are 155 seats ahead of second place _party_
That is a crushing defeat by anyone's standards!Peak Indy and peak SNP have come and gone. Welcome to the future.
:rotfl: Don't let the facts get in the way of your delusions!
There were 21 extra seats and SNP got 6 of them while also maintaining their 2012 numbers. Hardly "on the slide" is it?0 -

What I am saying is when push comes to shove your share of the popular vote in the GE will be under 40% and as such your dream of independence is withering on the vine.
It is all over.0 -

They won't believe it until they see it.
Wait for the vote share statistics on June 9th, then see how smug they all are after that.0
