SNP has set any "aggressive" agenda that exists.
From the disgraceful and obnoxious behaviour of the MP's in WM, to the mob rule that follows any attempt at civilised campaigning, (Jim Murphy's treatment for example), to the confrontational demeanour of their leader whenever seen/heard via the media.
Spinning the above news story here to suit your "poor disadvantaged us" agenda is typical but completely unsurprising.0 -

Oh, please do not go there.
The Jim Murphy / Eddie Hazzard manipulated civil campaigning was exposed for what it was, a sham attempt by the Labour Party office.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

In an abrupt about-turn, the First Minister argued the Nationalists winning more seats and votes than any other party would strengthen her democratic case for another referendum even if they get less than half the popular vote.

It's no wonder she's become a laughing stock.0 -
We didn't "bottle it"; we rejected a ridiculous idea out of hand.
We were born in the UK, we want to remain in the UK.
Just like yourself and the other non Scottish posters here.
You're right, mollycat, of course. The Scottish government shames you in its unremitting hatred of the English but of course, that's the way a significant percentage of Scots voted. The remedy is in your hands.0 -

The Scottish Tories and Labour have turned even the council elections into a referendum on a referendum. Better hope it doesn't backfire on them.Ruth Davidson’s star is beginning to fade
Today, that sense of invincibility has evaporated. As the council elections approach, Davidson is on a downward trajectory.
The daft photo stunts have dried up, she is increasingly tarnished by the national party’s excesses and the latest Ashcroft poll gave her an approval rating of -21, compared to Nicola Sturgeon at +11.
She may believe the general election will mean a few more seats in Scotland (Calum Kerr’s Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk constituency is a likely target) but, given David Mundell has a majority of just 798, they could end up losing the only one they’ve held on to.
..Those who interpreted Davidson’s popularity as proof of the Scottish Tories’ rehabilitation jumped the gun. Far from being detoxified, they continue to turn a blind eye to the peddling of hate and attacks on society’s poorest. Because of this, putting national issues at the heart of local elections could well backfire.
Davidson wants voters to send a message about their opposition to Indyref2 to Sturgeon; but what if, instead, they decide to send a message about Brexit and welfare reforms to May?
Spot on. ( full article at link ).It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

It's weird isn't it how that's not been on the BBC or ITV news ?0 -

Then get involved and steer the SNP forward. As hoping alone isn't enough. Requires everyone to contribute and offer ideas.
Of course all the ideas come from random folk off the internetLeft is never right but I always am.0 -
