Tora, Tora, Tora or Tory, Tory, Tory...........:T
Nicola Sturgeon tries to decouple independence from election after polls show Tories taking SNP seats.
The First Minister’s denial came after two polls at the weekend showed a remarkable surge of support for the Scottish Tories, with one putting their rating at 33 per cent, 18 points higher than the general election two years ago.
This would be enough for them to take 12 seats, including 10 from the SNP. Even Angus Robertson, the Nationalists’ Westminster leader, would be in danger of losing his Moray constituency.

Sounds like Nicola hasn't been listening to shakey.
But then again, who actually does???0 -
Been there, done that. 18 September 2014.
Your problem is that you can't bear to accept that Scotland has already said No.
Already asked and answered.:)It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Take a look at the comments section, perhaps reading a more in depth analysis without my name on it might persuade you. Those people are even saying the stats for Yes are worse than the polls returned. Yes is on the decline, that's all there is to say.
I gave you a link with figures from the same place you gave yours. I've been reading WhatScotlandThinks and Curtice for years. The comments section is no less of a anti/pro indy fest than any other blog though. If Yes is getting less, then why are these monthly averages ( or trend if you prefer ) showing otherwise ?
I can count just the same as you you know. And those figures look ok to me. Even better when the baseline is a vote in 2014 which was supposed to make a) The SNP die a slow and horrible death as a political party, and b ) stop Scotland ever thinking about independence ever again. These are very encouraging averages for when the starting pistol is fired next time.
And if you ever bothered to read past the newspapers screaming headline spin and check your facts regarding polling occasionally you'd be seeing the same. The pro indy side and folks like me now do this automatically. Any ref will be won or lost in the short few months and weeks leading up to it not now. Polls tend to change as events take over.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Since you've gotten so yourself so familiar and cosy reading my posts on here you've even started to shorten my username to the palsy walsy version. Good skills for someone who claims they never listen to 'shakey'.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

What fun!
Scottish indyref suggested perhaps 80% early. After major changes in circumstances. Major objections!
UK general elections suggested perhaps 60% early. But no major changes in circumstances. No objections.
Explain how this is fair to the SNP? Surely it's easy. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Shakey like the good acolyte she is, faithfully regurgitates the SNP/Sturgeon line ad infinitum. Yet whenever the unthinking acolyte is left high and dry by a hasty change in direction or emphasis by their overlords they can look a bit silly.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

I never claimed any such thing. I asked a question.
Remember when you learnt comprehension in school? Perhaps try applying some.0 -

If as you say, any furure referendum will be won in the weeks leading up to it, why do you keep posting polls which support your position as they are irrelevant by your logic? Curiously, you also either dismiss or ignore polls which undermine your agenda.0 -

Get as angry as you like but the comments section is full of well read individuals.
It's nothing to do with headlines or newspapers.
As I said, read what they say you might learn something.
Below is a screenshot, and I've been generous to you, I too took the don't know and refused responses out and took a screenshot of the data. You know, just so everyone is aware I'm not misleading them, I've also taken the opportunity to put the 'line of best fit' on there to illustrate the point I was making. I think in my freehand line drawing I was probably a little biased towards Yes, but still the indicative picture is there for all to see.0 -
Did we not decide two years ago who we wanted to represent us in WM ?
Didn't we say no to anymore than one Tory Labour or Linbdem?
And yet here we are having to vote again .... it's ridiculous ... we voted why can't May accept we voted ?0
