It constantly astounds me that folks as obviously intelligent as you are believe there's such as thing as a queue.

Whether there is a queue or not is irrelevant if the EU says there is a queue there is a queue and not much the nats can say but beg to get in!

SNP veteran accuses leadership of ‘MACMAF1A TACTICS’ as he quits party after 38 years...

Andy Doig, a councillor who has represented the Johnstone North, Kilbarchan and Lochwinnoch ward since 2012, has quit the SNP after accusing the party’s leadership of ‘MacMaf1a Tactics’.

Having been an SNP member since 1979, Cllr Doig said he is glad to be “free from the shackles of party politics” after he was controversially deselected as a council candidate ahead of local authority elections later this year.

He said: "I am sick of the MacMaf1a tactics being used against me...."

The cleverest Scottish schoolchildren are the equivalent of a year’s worth of schooling behind at science compared to before the SNP took power, according damning research.

You can FORGET the next Adam Smith or Alexander Graham Bell coming from Scotland as long as education remains entirely devolved to these morons.

I'm not sure that there's any need to personalise this debate.

Please only stick to the issues.

    As someone once told me....

I was complementing Tricky on his obvious intelligence from reading his posts here. While yourself on the other hand... was apparently able to perform impressive distance based mind reading and telepathy on a complete stranger, and then post up an extensive bullet list of my 'thoughts' beginning each sentence with 'You'. :)

Any thoughts on the issues though ?
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

There's no queue. You either meet the criteria or not.

I am still waiting for an indepencence supporter to tell me how Scotland with a bigger defecit than Greece will be able to survive and prosper as an independent nation. I would like to see a well reasoned discussion of how that will be so, how the deficit will be eradicated without turbo charged austerity or crippling taxes for example.

they say 80,000 jobs will be lost in Scotland as a result of leaving the EU. How many will be lost as a result of leaving the UK?

All we ever get from the indy supporters is bluster along the lines of don't tell us what to do, don't say we are to wee or to poor. No substance of HOW it might work. how we would prosper.

In politics you can never get all you want. you might not like leaving the EU, but I am damned sure leaving the UK would be a LOT worse for Scotland. Sometimes you have to chose the least bad option, and that is clearly remain in the UK and work to make the UK a success outside the EU.

I and many others have discussed the issues repeatedly. Obviously not in a way that fits the expected narrative, but never mind eh.

Heard today that apparently the tories have agreed a deal to ship unemployed Scots out to Texas so they can crack on with building trumps wall.
The money earned is going direct into funding tax cuts for the English.

This could be dynamite for the independence cause. Someone should get it on twitter quick.

I somehow doubt that will be the case, even if you did meet the criteria by some miracle there is no guarantee of entry.
