I,m not SNP,sorry if that doesn't fit into your one dimensional view of north of Carlisle.
I didn't say you were SNP.
But the SNP and the independence movement have taught many people in Scotland myths and falsehoods in an effort to persuade them to vote for it. I'd call it brainwashing, and it's not limited to only the people who vote SNP.0 -

Ah - like the leave campaign for Brexit then.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Not really.
The best you've got to go on would be the £350m on the side of the bus, and grammatically it never promised anything. There was a slide on a projector once that could be construed as a promise to spend it on the NHS.
Edit: And besides, it's actually entirely possible to find £350m a week to put into the NHS. It's not possible to find Whiskey Export Duty, or £15bn of missing money in GERS, or any other Scottish exports that are counted as English because they leave English ports. The "lies" in Leave are only lies to sad case Remainers who won't let go, the lies from the independence campaign are on a different strata, up there with unicorns and rocking horse excrement, extraordinary claims regarding things that don't exist.0 -

I reckon Scots are canny enough to make up their own minds on things,I don't believe any politicians so I am at an advantage there.I have a deep burning indifference0 -

That would be a remarkable achievement, seeing as how the SNP have little or no supporters in the mainstream media.
Are you ignoring the fact that the rise of the SNP and the indy vote was due to the declining reputation of the main unionist parties and the SNP just being in the right place at the right time? There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
If you're canny enough, why (as zagubov says) do you hoover up the drivel banded about social media and blogs which is clearly false?
You will be poorer.
You will not be richer.
You will have no greater benefits, you will in fact have less benefits (incl. welfare) and less services overall.
Winner?
Honestly, go and look at the data, the raw data. You'll see for yourself that the numbers don't work.
Why do you think they're trying to get you to vote for independence because "CONSERVATIVES!!!"? There's no substance to any other argument, and a contributory reason for Conservative government in perpetuity is because of the existence of the SNP vote in Scotland rather than the Labour vote.
The irony and delusion is astounding.0 -

Couple of interesting videos about two people who have voted from No to Yes. Might be good for some of those on this thread who don't understand why so many people support independence. The endless posts pointing out how stupid we are is surely becoming tedious for everyone?0 -

Watched the top video.
No facts, just feels. It's a pretty good summary of the independence arguments so far.
This guy, if these are indeed his own views... :wall: a classic example of an (allegedly) educated idiot. He says his view is that there will be no deal between the UK and the EU because the sides are too far apart. Well if that's the case, iScotland is screwed because that'll be 64% of Scottish trade under WTO tariffs, expect to lose most of the 64% and pay for the rest. But vote yes, because "feels".0
