And it ain't just gonna be the price of mince either ... but hey you can now legislate for bent bananas that's gotta be a winner eh ?
Won't be able to afford any but that's not important
That is hilariously rich (excuse the pun).
I will go on record and say Scottish independence may well result in some people in Scotland not being able to afford bananas. You quip about the UK, but in all honesty the UK will still be relatively fine even if things go badly. iScotland has to pray they go well just to have to deal with a £15bn deficit, anything other than well and you're in dire dire trouble.
Turkeys voting for Christmas springs to mind. I guess we'll save on Barnett. Be sad to see the people you put into poverty because you quite literally have no idea what you're doing.0 -

Oh my, SNP support is clueless, misinformed and in the minority. Anti-snp support actively asking for indy2 to crush it and put the issue to bed. People saying they voted Tory to get rid of the SNP, so much for that narrative you were trying to peddle previously about anti-tory sentiment. The SNP are hated with even more passion. Lovely.0 -

So we will be in a better position as an independent nation than we were before pleading for union with England to save us from the sorry state of being the poorest nation in Europe.
Well guess what with independence can any of you Nationalists explain to the rest of our Scottish nation how we will prosper after taking that dubious title from Greece?
Yes once again the poorest country in Europe.
Answer the difficult questions such as.
What Currency will we use?
Who will be our Lender of last resort?
The protection and provision of pensions in both the private and public sector?
The provision of free and at the point of need NHS care?
The care of the elderly?
The construction and maintenance of our transport infrastrutcure?
The failing education system?
The catastrophic state of Police Scotland?
I could go on but I would only get bored.
However as a side note could any of the SNP cultists who post on here and have any contact with the cult hierarchy please have a word about why my CAP payments are still 10 months in arrears?
I`m sure it`s no surprise that the SNP supporters benefits are being paid on time.Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind. - Albert Einstein.

Pro-indy and anti-EU, anti-indy and anti-EU, few if any were pro-EU.
Oh Tricky. Sometimes it pays to live in Scotland where the news is brought to you, well a little more locally. Theresa's 'betrayal' apparently. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
Strange isn't it, how everyone except shakey seems to understand that we're leaving the SM.
It's been spelt out pretty clearly really, but yet she's still banging on about it. The red line has been crossed. So why aren't the SNP printing off the ballot papers as we speak?
It's never going to get any better for the SNP and Nicola knows it. Negotiations will take place, trade deals will materialise and the SNP will still not be able to put together a sensible economic argument. Support will drift away as each month goes by. The argument is already lost.
But of course, playing the can kicking game is a sure fire way to keep the core support of twitter-obsessed loons clinging on to the hope.
Don't be in such a rush. None of us pro-indy supporters are. We're all just sitting back with elantan style popcorn buckets waiting for the Tories to make a monumental a**e of Brexit for a bit first. I can't speak for the SNP or Sturgeon, but am pretty sure they're thinking along the same lines. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

TrickyTree83 wrote: »mmmm you see the problem with that is there's no editorial oversight on the twattersphere.
It's notorious for trolling, I work in IT, I'm a geek. Anything you get which is not from a media source with editorial oversight (which the major media companies do have for social media, a friend of mine is one for a Trinity Mirror Group outlet) is open to fake news. Pro-independence has a track record of fake news, fake memes, inaccurate stories and myths. So in order to stay informed I'd steer clear and only stick to the major media - but we already know you don't do that because they're on the side of the nasty unionists.
So twitter news with no editorial oversight for you then!
Yes because editorial insight by Dacre or Murdoch is so impartial these days isn't it. Stick to major media if you wish, but you're waaaay behind the times and everyone else that follows anything even vaguely political. Or even news. At least on Twitter things like Wings and Hague/Whyte all get instant coverage for a full picture of topical issues as they occur. No matter where one stands in the debate.
Can't say that on a half hourly tucked away at half 10 at night barely watched Scotland current affairs program with two or three politicians all shouting over the top of each other. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

That's right shakey. You go ahead and place your bets on someone else doing the work for you instead of trying to build a positive case.
This desire you have to see things fail, it's so depressing.
luckily I suspect many Scots have realised that being governed by a single-issue protest group isn't the best outcome for Scottish schools, hospitals, businesses ...etc.0 -

Did you read the article or are you just latching onto the headline?
You think that's the fishermen asking for CFP? Or sharing their waters in any way?0 -
The front page of the Herald looks interesting today ... more fuel for the indy fire0
