Terminal 4 in JFK is busy this evening ... it will be interesting to see how the Trump responds ...It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
And finally May decides the pressure is too much and responds ... wonder if she will realise it's too little too late0

I think it's about testing waters shake ... seeing how far he can push things0

They are out and about at O'Hare as well ... looks like many people are annoyed with this particular EO
And in NY it's starting to escalate ... the police are stopping people at the subway station ...0 -
I think it's about testing waters shake ... seeing how far he can push thingsNew Executive Order from Trump removes Director of National Intelligence & Joint Chiefs of Staff from National Security CouncilNew memo establishes Steve Bannon as member of the National Security Council’s Principals Committee, typically off limits to political hacksSo the Security Council no longer includes Intelligence (pun intended) and State? My God.
Anyway, better get to bed. Has been like watching a slow car crash today on twitter etc. Closer to home, I think Theresa May has been a bit damaged by this after what seemed like a very successful visit. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

I woke up to that .... it appears Steve Bannon the white supremacist has been given a new exciting role in the Trump administration ... it's gonna get bumpy ... Theresa the appeaser will need to start talking fast about why she came out late to oppose him
But Sturgeon and Trudeau seemed to have gained kudos globally with their reaction
And the money was raised in less than half an hour by Women for Independence to get the couple home.from.Costa Rica ... I'm kinda glad I'm a member of WFI
What a world to wake up.to0 -

Still, as a Brexiteer it's not like he likes the idea of FOM much anyway is it ?Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

it appears that brexiters have no automatic right of entry or residence in about 160 countries: its probably different for remainers or members of the SNP.0 -
Nicola is adamant that Scottish voters views on Brexit must be respected. But will she respect their views on holding another referendum?
Doubtful.

So she would defy the views of the majority of the UK, for the sake of a tiny region of the UK. That is like saying my two year old son does not like baked beans so they have to stop selling them to anyone. In a democracy the majority rules. OK, she would prefer a dictatorship but that is not what she will get at the next election.
I know she is aiming to make herself unpopular with the rest of the UK, but surely even she must see that the majority voted for brexit, she would be very unhappy if Scotland wanted out but Cornwall stamped their feet and said no and that stopped it.
I just wish she would get on and have her referendum. I also think she should give the rest of the UK a vote too, after all It affects the whole of the UK, but then she would end up with an independant Scotland and a whole lot of problems, including being out of the EU as soon as they are independant rather than when the UK leaves. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
