Oh look Chris has been cleared of all allegations ... that must be a bit of a blow for the SNP haters0

Now the SNP are being urged to solicit help from The Donald. The same SNP that wanted to ban him from Scotland and openly supported Hillary?0 -
Oh look Chris has been cleared of all allegations ... that must be a bit of a blow for the SNP hatersSpeculation is also rife about who made the complaint. Some in the SNP are concerned it may have been someone inside the party given the detailed financial nature of the allegations whilst others are adamant it must have come from a political opponent.
A blow for the SNP haters?
Or just a blow for whoever accused him - which looks likely to have been someone inside the SNP itself?
Also, you have to wonder why it has taken four months to get this far?0 -
Ask the devolved parliaments to draft their own Great Repeal Bill in terms of the detail and consistent with their devolved powers. If they decline they will have no EU consistent laws or workers rights come Brexit day
The Westminster bill could then be subject to EVEL.
The SNP may well not want Brexit (neither do I) but it would be self-destructive in the extreme to try to make it any worse than it may well be.
Brexit will happen (it has to) no later than 2 years after A50, Great Repeal act or not. The act is just admin.
They won't vote it through though for fear of what it opens the door to further down the line in terms of workers rights, quality control, food standards etc. NI will be the same.
They'll also never vote through any new Scotland Act which rewrites and re-reserves fishing and agriculture control back to Westminster. The Scottish Parliament at Holyrood can pass laws on devolved matters – in general, those affecting most aspects of day-to-day life in Scotland. The UK Parliament at Westminster can pass laws on reserved matters – in general, those with a UK-wide or international impact.
Devolved matters include :-
agriculture, forestry and fisheriesIt all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

No. Gordon Wilson is doing the urging no one else. An SNP dinosaur from the 70's who's losing the plot slowly but surely. Like Jim Sillars. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

And Mike Dailly joining the SNP ! My goodness I had to read that tweet from him saying he'd joined several times in disbelief last night. He was one of the most vocal Labour BetterTogether activists there was.
Times certainly are a changing. He tweeted this 20 mins ago.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Yep I read those tweets myself ... I also read his tweet from.2013 stating the SNP hated the English ... and would love to hear his journey to yes and SNP ... I think it would be interesting0

I dint think Sillars has changed to a no voter I think he just doesn't want another indy ref for a while ... think he would still vote yes0
