are they other issues in scotland more important that Iscotland?

WHY IS THE TIMING IMPORTANT : why not right now?

I've already told you. The other Scottish parties really wouldn't like it and would be all over Scottish/UK media accusing Sturgeon of jumping the gun when there 'could' have been special deals made.

It's Dugdale and Rennie that are desperately hoping that somehow Scotland can stay in both the EU/Single Market and the UK. They're still saying it now ! Sturgeon calls a ref now, and they'll accuse her repeatedly ( and I mean repeatedly as in will talk about nothing else) of not waiting to see if any of the above is possible via any means. We all know it's not... but Scottish politics at Holyrood being what it is, Sturgeon has to slowly and painfully offer up every other possible option no matter how unrealistic to Westminster first for May to 'slap down'. Which May of course is doing a grand job of.

Once all other options are gone, then there's only one course of action left for Sturgeon to take. Dugdale and Rennie are then faced with some cold hard reality. Both will have to justify a hard Tory led Brexit to their own parties and voters in country which voted 62% to remain. And which isn't keen on Tories at the best of times either. Good luck with that.

In short. Sturgeon is far more interested and concerned with Scottish politics right now, not Westminster politics. Dugdale and Rennie are her biggest stumbling blocks along with the Scottish media who give them ample airtime.

It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

You continie to peddle rubbish, the EU Referendum was about the EU, the previous one settled the UK matter and polls since have backed that up.

Yes the UK does have a constitution, it's largely unwritten.

I see that a separate deal for Scotland has been ruled out (again).

    http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-38661184

We have known this for ages as, indeed, have the SNP. Yet they have peddled and are still peddelling, the known falsehood that it is possible, another nugget of deceit in their Fakery, decieving the Scots for the sole aim of feeding their obsession

    And that's the problem.

Everyone can see through the lies. Only the devout, and they are devout in the true sense of the word think the SNP can do no wrong and are therefore correct in what they say. I don't understand it.

All very well, your opinion. But the reality is that there will be another vote in Scotland at some point in the near future before Scotland leaves the Single Market/EU. Legislation is going through Holyrood right now for it. The SNP and the Greens will vote it through by majority once it's presented in Holyrood.

It's going to happen whether you like it or not I'm afraid. Best get used to the idea.

You too. There will be another vote before Scotland leaves the EU/Single Market and you should get used to that fact now. SNP + Greens = majority at Holyrood.

Even if there is, you've got nothing to campaign on except lies.

You ask most people who voted to leave and they didn't base their vote on lies. They knew what they were voting for, it's people who support remain and those with a vested interest who want to pass off the leave campaign as a vote for lies.

Try telling people in Scotland the truth about the economy, debt, finance and jobs if you leave the UK and join/remain in the EU. See what they say about the truth.

What like 'only voting No means staying in the EU'. Or..

During yesterday’s speech, Theresa May took time to tell “Spanish Fishermen” that they’d be worse off without a good deal between the EU and the UK.
Fishing control is supposed to be going back to Holyrood by default is it not ?
