Even a part of Belgium is holding up the Canada deal.

You're a bit behind the times on that one ;)

You don't know much do you!

You can't tell Clapton what currency an iScotland will use. You can't say when the advisory indy ref 2 will be called.

Have you considered knocking on Hamish's door and asking him? ;)

In contrast, PM May has told you when A50 is planned to start. We also know when A50 should conclude.

Perhaps you need some Tories to help the SNP plan.. :rotfl:

Why ask Hamish? He doesn't know either, though he has indicated a preferred option.

He knows that there is a limited window for a 2nd indy referendum, and that it takes time to prepare.

If you don't have a concrete timetable it starts to sound like hollow rhetoric.

Events move on, but the point is that the EU is a collection of states at quite different stages of development.

What Hungary and Poland want is not always going to align with the likes of Germany and Belgium etc.

The EU politicians know this, which is why they are pushing for greater control at the centre.

I'm puzzled as to why the people of Scotland think this will be beneficial to them. There may be good arguments, so I am interested to know.

Because you appear unable to answer the question.

There is no concrete timetable, because having one would simply demonstrate that Scotland cannot avoid Brexit. All that is happening is that the SNP are using the Euro referendum result as a pretext for holding another indy referendum in the hope that they might get a different result.

    It's simply political kite flying.

Yup, Wallonia was leant upon. Wallonia is part of Belgium which has twice the population of Scotland. Wallonia is more comparable, about 1million less than Scotland.

    If you read the article

... you will get an idea of the amount of clout that Scotland would have on who does what in the EU.

    Enjoy

I would say that given the demographic of the EU vote and the SNP mandate, there is valid reason to explore what's best for the future of Scotland.

55% turnout. In which < 50% of the 55% voted SNP.

EU vote was tainted by duplicitous SNP campaigning.

I'd say you've just shot yourself in the foot.

Scotland has so much clout in the UK that their overwhelming vote to remain was totally ignored.

Even a region of a Country in the EU can cause an international stir and make them reconsider, if they feel strongly about it.
