My thoughts exactly. I think we are all suffering election/ referendum fatigue but people will vote en masse just like last time as it is such an important vote.0 -

You miss/avoid the point I was making.
It's another another good reason to refuse a Referendum request, citing the wishes of the Scots themselves, let alone the other reasons I've already given.Union, not Disunion
I have a Right Wing and a Left Wing.
It's the only way to fly straight.0 -

Voters oppose having the referendum but it won't stop it happening? lol ok0 -
From July 2015:-
Ms Sturgeon addressed the Hong Kong Foreign Correspondents’ Club this morning as part of her visit to the Chinese administrative region this week.
She said: “Two questions I get asked often these days - will there be another independence referendum and, if so, when?
My answer is simple. It will be if and when the Scottish people decide and not a moment before.
No politician can impose a referendum on Scotland, no matter how much some of us would like Scotland to be independent.0 -

What do you think will happen if the SNP and the Greens call one anyway ? Of course it will happen.
People that don't want one are free to vote Yes or No as before. Or not vote at all but if there's a date set, they'll be going to the ballot boxes down the road just as they have been in the last few years. What else can they do ?
I for one didn't want an EU referendum. But I still voted. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

But a group of politicians that form a majority in Holyrood can do just that. Nicola Sturgeon won't be calling it on her own, she'll need a majority of MSP's to back her.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

They'll have to leave wishful thinking behind and vote one way or the other in reality. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Read the last sentence again.....the bit where she said "no matter how much some of us would like Scotland to be independent."0 -

I've not mastered how to get photies up without getting myself tied in knots so sadly can't put any yeslings photies up ... wonderful thing is as you rightly point out they are generally older people ... last time round the older ones tended to vote no... maybe a few have changed their minds...
I reckon the Yeslings are quite a big group though ... but come on having to get up early Sunday morning to travel
