I bet you thought that was a clever question.
As voting on self determination goes, Scotland regularly get asked about independence. Just ask a Catalonian.
As usual the NAT narrative is 100% grievance and nothing else.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
In other news....
The Tories in one poll in Scotland showing a healthy 7 point bounce up to 28% with the SNP on 40%.
It’s as if the SNP story about BJ in Scotland is absolutely robblocks!“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Nice one. It can't be easy asking a question on QT and coming across so confidently and clearly. I noticed a lot of the questioners voices were shaking with nerves. Mine probably would too.
I guess we'll just have to be left guessing how you got your user name.0 -

And what have you done?
Have you ever been on Question TIme? Have you ever asked a question?
No.0 -
Britainelects says Panelbase has the Conservatives currently at 28% in Scotland, their highest showing for a year.
Meantime their Scottish independence tracker shows remain part of the UK still ahead by 51.3% to 48.7% for leaving.

No.
Wow.
You’re easily impressed.
Come on though, it was a pretty naff question, sneering and grievance ridden.
Straight out of the SNP playbook in fact.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Got an SNP flyer through the door today; the word "Independence" does not appear at all.
"Independence" is for the rUK media darlings, it has to be hidden from the actual scottish electorate as it is as popular as the pox.0 -

Cringeworthy....if you don't mind me saying
Why don't you listen to the scottish people (who you live amongst); plenty of them to tell you the right way of it.0 -

Good spot! Are you sure you do not "walk among us" up here?
Almost a caricature or comedy spoof of what the stereotypical SNP supporter would say. Embarrasing and so unrepresentative of the true scottish nature of tolerance and respectfullness as you could get.
To my east of Scotland ear it translated as,
"How dare any english person tell us what to do"
and
"People like me need to have our voices heard", which is completely different to "the people of Scotland need their voices heard."
I'll say it again; these people and their views are massively overrepresented in the wider UK media right now, in some kind of misguided attempt to "appease" the scots.0
