I'm not saying I'm content with the Scottish NHS 'just' being better than Englands ( I work in it ). I'm saying that service users themselves are overall far more satisfied with provision than elsewhere in the UK. There's a reason for that isn't there.

And has nothing to do with the politicians input......

The SNP do not manage the NHS.

Around here it's increase in population due to immigration. Our NHS trust last year had to employ translators for 137 different languages and dialects..........
  • I do not care what happens elsewhere. The health board in
Glasgow is in danger of being put under 'special measures'. How is the new sick kids hospital doing in Edinburgh?...how late is it coming on to being used and what Party takes the responsibility for that?

You do not care what happens elsewhere because it doesn't suit your agenda. The above ( which includes a hospital which hasn't even opened it's doors yet ) is nothing compared to this travesty.
A review into the deaths and injuries of babies at a scandal-hit maternity unit has uncovered hundreds of new cases. NHS Improvement has found more than 300 new cases of concern at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SATH).
It is understood that the new cases include still births and deaths of babies in the final stages of labour.
An independent inquiry ordered by Jeremy Hunt when he was Health Secretary in April 2017 had already been investigating 250 cases at hospitals in Shropshire.

I suppose you'll be leading the charge in resignation calls will you ? You're obviously so concerned about what goes on in NHS hosptials. What Party takes the responsibility for that ? * looks forward to the tumbleweed from foxtrot*
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

You'd best be taking that statement up with foxtrotoscar.

    Stop making things up.
  • The sooner Scotland becomes independent and out from under the thumb of England the better,
    • Yes, there will be a period of economic uncertainty after independence
    • Yes, the SNP will probably split into separate parts
    • Yes, someone other than the witch, Nicola Sturgeon will be our first minister at some point post-independence
    • Yes, we'll have full control over everything, so you English can stop complaining that you're funding us
    • Yes, our NHS isn't doing to well but neither is yours England
    • Yes, our Education isn't the best, just like yours England, but we have free education, unlike you(sorry you fund this for us - sarcasm)
    • Yes, we can survive without you England, it will be difficult to begin with but within two decades, we can still rise now, and be a nation again
    • Yes to Independence, down with the United Kingdom in its current form

20% of people don't turn up for their booked appointments either. Within a sizable trust. That's a huge waste of consultants and nursing staff's available time.

There speaks someone with zero experience & whom I'm willing to wager has never been inside an A&E in Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham or London.
