There's a real head of steam building under everything. It's going to blow sooner or later. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
No attempt at actually persuading the electorate of the (ahem!) benefits of independence and winning the argument then! :rotfl:
Recent poll, (CBA linking it), 22% of scots think a 2nd referendum likely after Brexit completed.
Sounds about right; all the propaganda in the world isn't going to change that, (thank god)
Hahaha well I guess it always helps explain your arguement Molly when you get your figures right. I can't be bothered correcting it for you.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

That’ll be the sort of ‘keeping your heads down’ that comes with the loss of 500,000 votes and 21 MP’s.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Is just popcorn time for now. Everyone knows when it comes to it a second Scottish vote will be quick and opportunistic at a time when emotions are running high over something Brexit related.
I should think you are running low on kernels up there by now.0 -

The tension is overwhelming. Meanwhile life carries on and the UK continues to drift further away.0 -
Here's a bit of lighthearted silliness that both British people and people from Scotland can laugh at:

Okay, I'll bite on the atrocious trolling

Haven't you realised that independence votes are never "quick and opportunistic".
Even if a large percentage of Scots side with you, you best be prepared for years of disagreements from both sides.
I do think the EU would welcome an independent Scotland though, especially if you commit to a plan to adopt the Euro. That basket case currency needs all the PR it can get.0 -
I was always worried that the result of the referendum would leave the winning side exposed to the negative effect of subsequent "events".
