We all know who it is who's spreading lies. When we hear repeatedly from you things like this, we know exactly where it's coming from and it isn't 'Westminster'. It comes directly from the SNP because they have no economic case which works for Scotland so they lie, lie and lie again about the hated Westminster. It's the Goebbels technique.

    It's how a separatist agenda works !! :)

Which is why I find SNP moans about UKIP amusing. UKIP and Farage attack "Brussels" just like Sturgeon and SNP attack "Westminster".

They are more alike than they realize.

    Been saying it for ages....

In the absence of any coherent or credible political/economic argument, the Scottish nationalists have become absolute masters of propaganda.....the identifying and demonising of the scapegoat is their default tactic

    Dangerous, dangerous people.

Is this news to anyone at all ? And at the end of the day only proves how much Scotland is valued as a current part of the UK. What kind of message do you think this conveys to ordinary Scots voters that they have no place being in UK talks do you think ?

Because it does say Scotland, not SNP in that headline after all.

There you go again, look. You take the word Scotland from an on line newspaper that hardly any one reads and was only used by the journalist who wrote the article and extrapolate that to a message that's being sent to Scots voters.

You don't even realise that Wales, England and Northern Ireland won't have a place at the negotiating table either because in your head the only thing that matters is Scotland. It isn't.

How would it work, inviting Sturgeon along into the negotiating rooms anyway?

It's a bit like going into a national Cyber Security briefing, and inviting Julian Assange along as the minute taker ! :rotfl:

Am sure it does. But for the fact Labour councillors were elected on not going into coalitions with anyone who stood an an 'austerity' ticket. Kezia was very clear about that in the run up to the locals.

Anyway, you'll be so pleased to hear that I finally managed to open a Telegraph page. And it does look like what the SNP were saying was right about that letter you were on about, since even Farage was spitting blood about 12 miles instead of 200 miles yesterday. Fishermen also seem pretty upset about the Tories overall 'vagueness' on this.

The Tories are indeed going to sell the fishermen out again as a Brexit bargaining chip.

Conservative hating poster links to article containing speculation about something the Conservatives didn't say in mid afternoon shocker.

It says they're part of the UK. None of the other devolved administrations or city/region mayors or business leaders will be round the table either. What's your point? Nicola just wants something more to moan and shout about. It's very transparent these days.

More like Conservative supporting newspaper posts story about the SNP lying and cognito spends three pages bumping his gums about the SNP lying.. then Conservative supporting newspaper posts story which states the SNP were probably not lying. Now you're all flailing about trying not to admit it. Tiresome but predictable.

Fishermen = bargaining chip. Exactly what the SNP said and a Conservative supporting newspaper now reporting the same.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

Aren't the EU making NI central to their negotiations ? NI should have a seat at the table. So should Wales so should Scotland. Why do you think they shouldn't ? You've never explained why they shouldn't especially given how profoundly as in NI's case the decision might affect them going forward and given they didn't vote for it either.

Why shouldn't the devolved parliaments have a say ? That's what they were promised by leave campaigns last year. What's changed ? Your thoughts appreciated.

Having a say and sitting at the conference table are two totally different things. Can you not see that? No, obviously.

And although Eire and Poland are two of the EU members most affected by Brexit, oddly enough we don't hear them clamouring for a seat at the conference table, the reason being that they understand that they will be represented by the Likes of Tusk and Barnier to negotiate on their behalf. Northern Ireland, England and Wales understand that their interests will be represented by the UK government. It's only Holyrood that doesn't and, let's face it, if the UK government were to come back with everything they ask for in the negotiations, it will never be enough for the Nats.
