I've calmed down, paid teo months rent to the end of November and when the builder deigns to text me back, we'll arrange a meeting on Monday.

I'm off to see a play tonight. It's had good reviews and I enjoyed the film.

The play has local orchestra players incorporated into the script.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

When you see the Dr tomorrow tell them what you're telling us . I know it is very difficult sometimes to be listened too but you need someone to listen and act . It isn't good enough to be dismissed when you are struggling so much . Have you any contact with Autism support ? I think you need some sort of advocacy if available .
    You sound exhausted .
Sometimes my daughter writes everything down and hands it our Dr . We are lucky he's one of the good ones . Just getting stuff down and handing it over may help a little .
It's a hard one and short of you finding another GP i can't suggest much else at the moment .
Messed up has had many a struggle to access support and treatment but now has that coming .
Good idea to go in about SAMH .
I'll check back to see how you get on tomorrow and good luck at college .

I feel bad enough going to doctor as is, as been about 6 times in past 3 months feeling ill or when I had my bad back and each time doc made me feel like I was wasting her time, this time she even told me off for wasting NHS 24's time as it was only for emergencies and I could of just waited to today to make an appointment (my thought was check if I needed it or I was just overreacting but NHS 24 told me with my symptoms a GP visit was reccomended)

No autism support, used to be a local club that has been off for about 18 months now due to lack of funding, social worker must be 4 times in 3 years I have met her as she keeps admitting theres no funding or local support for people with "mild" autism.

Sorry if I'm missing the point but if you can get a good night's sleep by taking a painkiller, can you not just carry on doing that and not need anything else to be prescribed to help with sleep?

With regards to support for your anxiety, have you tried writing things down beforehand to take with you so that if you struggle to explain yourself in the appointment you can just wave the letter at them? Works for some people.

The painkiller is co codamol the leftover mid strength ones from when I broke my arm, gives me a very good nights sleep as it knocks me out and I don't fidget, reasons I didn't want to take them as didn't want to tell doctor I felt good that morning as she would of assumed I was all better, plus the side effects of the painkiller make me a little out of it the day after

And I noticed the longer I took them when I had my broken arm the longer the drowsiness lasted so I only use them as a last resort.

GN Crossing the fingers you'll hear soon from the builder . Enjot the evening .
Do you know you can buy that extra spoon? While dd was waiting for her recent reassessment for support group esa I was looking for something small to cheer her up . I came across the Homemade section on Amazon ..If you search for Everyone loves Gifts you'll see jewellery and bag charms and others made by a woman with disabilities to raise awareness of often invisible illness .
I bought the never give up purple organza cord necklace for £5 and free royal mail delivery . It came pretty instantly . I then ordered two of the butterfly spoonie bag charms , one each again £5 each and free delivery if you look at the sellers feedback page you'll see me asking if she has a tardis so fast was delivery .
Necklace has a little spoon , bag charm a bigger spoon .

dekaspace I seem to be asking you never ending questions .
Is the volunteering part of the job coaching you were having ?

The college course is that towards a qualification ? If so what is that hoped to lead to ?

The reason I worry about lack of support is you are dealing again with things that challenge you without the coping skills we've talked of in the past .

A while back you posted on this thread that you were wondering about going back to your home area . I'm aware jobs are few there but your medical and other support seemed better .
A lot has been happening but when you have some time it could be worth you thinking of the pros and cons of both areas regarding which would give more peace of mind and support .

You've had many neighbour problems , friend problems etc since moving a glance at your threads shows that .

You do need both decent medical and mh care and are you going to get that in your present location ?
Give yourself all the time you need to work out what you really need and can cope with .

Not technically, I looked up volunteering when I first moved her and occupational therapist at start of year was eager for me to do it, it was just job coach wanted me to do it too.

And MH support, wasn't in my home town in fact the support there is terrible its a old fashioned town with no funding, same town where father has had botched operations at hospitals, waited years for operations that have been cancelled on the day and then blamed on him and told to wait for years more.

Where I am now has the best hospital support but not mental health support, the best MH support is in the town where I had a amazing flat when first moving there, then had my bi polar flatmate and druggie neighbours, then moved somewhere I was illegally evicted as LL claimed I owed rent when it was late due to him phoning council and saying I moved(same place I was also assaulted by neighbour who claimed I was noisy) then moved next to a drug dealer for 3 years, so not the best place and theres no work there, high rent.

My home town is a old fashioned but nice town with beautiful towns and scenery around in the Scottish Borders.

Im the most stable here than I have been in years but that may be because I am now into my mid 30s.
  • The show was wonderful and very sad.

I cried at the end. :o

Today, washing, self care and going up to work to put in my last timesheet.

I've got a pile of paperwork including an admission from HMRC that they owe me over £300!

I need to get it all sorted before they suffer selective amnesia....:D

I opened 10 very scary letters on Tuesday. To find that they were all stuff that had already been dealt with or I had in hand. Good to get them filed away.

I am going to make dolls clothes for littlewing for her xmas present. I can't sew really (seriously) so asked a little girl what website she uses for patterns. She looked blank and said, I just do it! That was hugely inspirational because littlewing will think it is wonderful anyway (tackier the better, although I hope to maintain some standards). I am enjoying the small bit I have done so far. Mostly doing it by hand but I can get help if I part assemble stuff.

DH is upset for the last few days. Not quite sure why. I don't think he knows but he said there is nothing I don't already know. Think it is work and money-related. I am trying to cut costs and that never goes down well. We have had a lovely, fairly cheap, summer because I got us involved with a lot of free or cheap stuff. He was fine about that and didn't feel we had missed out but I think he misses the spontaneity. He also seems a bit upset about us buying presents for my family for xmas. I have a budget that I stick to anyway, and I have cut it down more this year, but I almost think he'd rather not give anything. Difficult to know if this is a passing thought with him. I think he feels bad that he doesn't earn more, but really that is because he has put his life a bit on hold due to my mh issues. I know that people look at us and think we are lucky to have our little family.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
