We all have our down moments, WW, so hopefully it's a passing phase. One of my siblings doesn't "do" presents, so we now buy for the kids and we have a competition for the cheapest tackiest thing he will find amusing on the grounds that he has to have something to open or his kids feel he's missing out..
I'm glad you had an enjoyable summer. Maybe that's part of it as well, summer starting to come to and end?

I have just sent an email to someone high up in my organisation and am now wondering if it was a particularly wise thing to do. However if they solicit opinions, they shouldn't complain when they get them.

GN £300 - please say you're going to do something nice with it for yourself?

I've booked a taster driving lesson for Wednesday.

Booked into a Jobs Fair for Friday.

Have a job interview for 20th. Need help from my old office. Have made the decision to volunteer on Monday so that I can make myself useful around the old office. Hopefully, fingers crossed they may help.

If they say no, I ve got to do some serious revision without some essential, specialist books.

After therapy session where I overwhelmed my therapist with everything I've got going on, I'm going to stop just desperately looking for jobs, definitely take a year out and work towards some sort of mental, spiritual and physical self improvement.

So I'm going to decline the offer of a job interview and stick to the goal of looking for part time work possibly closer to home.

Next session is next week.

We should have been going away on our holiday today so feeling pretty yuk.

I've found my provisional driving licence.

Booked to see another show and provisionally pencilled in a couple of courses offered by the local adult education service.

I haven't left the house today at all. I only woke up at 1.30pm.

So last night, I sorted out some photocopying I could do when I brought my last timesheet up.

I put it in a folder with some letters to post and put the folder in my bag. I also left a bag full of magazines by my bag so as not to forget it.

I forgot to put the timesheet in the folder. And the ID lanyard to pass into the library.

I only realised about the lanyard on the bus to work.

And the timesheet as I was standing by the in-tray.

So I raced out the door this morning and joined the commuter throng to give some magazines to the volunteer hub.
