    I've been Money Tipped!
Not to bad today but had a bit of a down episode as I slept longer than I wanted, managed to cut back on sleep last few months and its rare I get over nine and a half hours and its nine and a half I aim for but give some room in case I am watching a good movie so I get maybe eight and a half, or I have a day where I am allowed a sleep in but still worked out between 8-9 and a half hours almost every day and rarely less.

Slept ten and a half maybe close to eleven but maybe as I was up almost 18 hours as was up at 7.45am and in bed just after 1am so didn't wake till 11.45am when I had class at one so had to clear my head, have a 10 minute shower and then missed the bus by 30 seconds to town so I missed my college bus by 2 minutes so arrived 30 minutes late, didnt get told off for it but it caused me anxiety and its on my attendance log as being late.

Meant to have allowances because of my disability but still waiting for learning support to arrange it so until then will cause me anxiety.

Still though, im impressed I am doing better than have for years it seems moving to social housing despite the neighbours having kids that run about sometimes and some drug users on other side of block its better, im still drained from years of anxiety but more open to help.

Am a bit upset. Well very upset, to be honest.

Was talking to someone during the evening, and suddenly they turn on me. Apparently I had said something. When I asked what I had said, the reply was, you know full well, or words to that ilk.

So, totally shocked, I apologised for whatever it was I had inadvertently said, and was then told it wasn't inadvertent, that I had meant it.

Protesting my innocence just got more insistence that, whatever it was, I had meant it, and that I did know what it was.

Apologised once more for upsetting them with whatever it was I had done, but got more of the same, so started feeling angry and shut up.

    And this was in public.

    Am still none the wiser.

This person, who I've only met once before, a while ago, does have some problems, but I don't know what they are.
The trouble is, that you can be chatting off and on for several days here and there, perfectly ok, and then wham! You get hit with an accusation like this, right out of the blue. I then remembered that something similar had happened the last time I'd met them.

If you knew what the trigger was, that set off this type of reaction, you could avoid it, but I have absolutely no idea.

So it will mean an active avoidance of them strategy on my part, which isn't nice, but I really don't want to become upset again by something that I've no idea will cause offence. I'd be scared to say anything at all, however seemingly innocuous.

Does anyone know if there's a particular MH condition that can manifest in this way?

Hugs Pyxis, what a horrible experience. Sometimes you need to just get up and leave.
  • Attention seeking. Narcissist. Histrionic PD. EUPD. We're not professionals, Pyxis, sorry. :(

By not going into the specific whys and wherefores, she's got no intention of ending the 'feud' and may well talk about your 'outrageous behaviour' behind your back to others, just to make herself the centre of attention.

She probably enjoyed you effectively grovelling to her, apologising and wanting information from her.

Perhaps she's jealous of you and your perceived accomplishments?

It's horrible when something like that happens, if she has no bearing on your professional life and you can avoid her in the future, you may well have got away with little damage to your reputation.

If she has influence over your friends, then I have no idea what to say.

It's horrible when you come across someone who clearly is troubled, but drives people away. ((((((Pyxis))))))

Hi, Pyxis. Sounds like an awful experience.

The only advice I can offer is never to try and reason with unreasonable people. This person likely has many problems. You won't be able to do anything about it. It is best to just leave them be, for your own sake.
She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?
  • That's awful Pyxis, very sorry it happened to you. Avoiding them is the best policy IMO, anyone that says things like "you know perfectly well..." isn't going to be worth talking to.

Thanks. Yes, avoidance was what I decided to do, despite them complimenting me on my hair this morning!:eek::mad::eek: which I acknowledged with a polite "thank you" and walked away.

    Doesn't make any sense.

I avoided them all day. If I understood it, I could deal with it, but I don't, so I shall keep well away, as far as I am able.

    Dilemma.

I found some personal papers yesterday. They had been dropped outside a shop.

The woman's address was on them so I went out of my way to pop them through her letterbox.

The address suggested a house, it was in fact a block of flats.

However, some of the front doors were labelled but most weren't.

I was looking for 17 and found an unmarked door opposite 19. Thinking I'd found the correct address, I put them through the door.

Now I'm thinking if there were two flats per floor, then 15 and 17 must be on the ground floor, 21 must have been opposite 19 and I've put the papers through the letterbox of 21 instead of 17.

    Do I leave it?

Knock on the door I put the papers through and see who they are?

I'm hoping that if I have put the papers through the wrong door, the occupant would be good enough to put them through the correct door.

It's been preying on my mind ever since I realised I might have made a mistake. :o

    GN,

You have done your bit so I think you should forget all about it. You probably got it right anyway.

    No more mulling!

I have my big-girl pants on today and am doing paperwork stuff. Relief to have started. DS was moaning that I said I would do it in February.

Part of my "great a grip" phase!

Getting some toys off gumtree for littlewing for xmas. She will not care that they are not boxed; I shall theme them into cellophane anyway. (She will have some new cheap presents).
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
