  • On the doo....Sorry Pyxis, it just slipped out. :o:D:rotfl:

Thanks for the welcome back, you are all lovely. WaSp is sort of ok, he is in a lot of pain these days as he seems to have acquired gout! I keep teasing him and telling this is what he gets for eating half a cow with every meal. Milliefleur is doing great! She loves her care home, takes part in all the activities and now stays awake chatting daily to beyond midnight. She has completely blossomed with her new social life, she has always loved to be surrounded by people.

A funny yet horrifying BIL story, We don't know the details but he went to visit Milliefleur (drunk of course) and somehow ended up in an argument with another visitor. He was asked to leave and refused so the care home called the police. He ended up spending a night in a police cell to sober up. Now he has to call in advance everytime he wants to visit and have security escort him from room to room, Milliefleur has no idea any of this happened and the home have agreed not to tell her because she would be both horrified and incredibly embarrassed. He is possibly the only person in history who visited his mum in a home and ended up in prison as a result. You couldn't make it up...

WaS my DH suffers with gout too, besides the obvious like red meat and cider, he has found houmous sets him off too.

The Dr prescribed him some pills and the ones the pharmacist gave him were called "Rheumatic Retard" which DH was rather miffed about :rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hiding due to safety fears for myself.

    PENGUIN
So, worried a little as I decided to report all the suspicions I have about my neighbours to the police such as the comings and goings pretty much 24/7 and never more than 10 minutes if not 5 when people enter or leave the flat, and how they have started pouring bleach where they chat at back of the building at least once a day, how one time I saw a regular stink of cannibis and how I saw one walk up with a roll of tinfoil a few weeks ago, and how they keep jamming back door open and threaten anyone that closes it

Oh and how they are well known to themselves, and local shopkeeps ban them from their premises, police told me they couldn't comment on that but as I soon as I mentioned they are the ones everyday coming out of town centre solicitors the guy said "I know which ones you mean"

Not even sure I should post this explaination, will delete it if needed
    END OF PENGUIN
  • Gosh, dekaspace, yes, keep safe. It does sound as if it was a good idea to alert the plod though. All very best wishes for a speedy resolution!

Poor WaSP! Do give him a hug from me and Mr JM - very sorry to hear about the gout :(

Not a lot happening this week. It's tough though spending all day together.

Melly someone is definitely waiting for a belly tickle there!

Pyxis I think it's Diclofenac, he also has to take a tummy pill with it but I can't remember what that one is called.

Crikey Deka, I hope the police get it sorted

DS2 and I both have the dentist tomorrow  more expense, but after this we won't go for another year - forget the 6 month check up unless we have pain :p

I hope everyone has had a bit of relaxation over the bank holiday weekend x

dekaspace Just a quick reply for now . Hopefully all will be ok . Your penguin was coming up in bits and pieces on my screen . Not sure if it's the laptop or my fingers .
Keep yourself safe . Please although you have issues with your doctor get back to see them .
When we were talking on your thread about the work training I was explaining to others how Autistic disorders can lead to over thinking and recalling all the times things went wrong in previous situations .
On your friends issues thread we were discussing how distraction to others lives masks the things you need to deal with to move forward .
I'm glad you've found this safe place where you wont be baited by those who don't understand .
I know you were under a lot of pressure due to the sudden bringing forward of the job coaching and would begin to struggle .
When you struggle you shift your focus to other things . I am not denying you are having problems with neighbours but something needs to be sorted .
Maybe the meds needs adjusting , some better support is needed or counselling to help you further .
I know I have asked before but back in June I asked if you had contacted SAMH as suggested by Pyxis on one of your threads .
Last time you replied you'd had the forms but forgot to send them back . Have you done that yet?
I hope things are ok tonight . Take care .

Lovely to see you WaS . Ouch to WaSP but happy to hear Millefleur is having such a good time xxx

Take care everyone . Look after you Melly or I'll shout !
