Well. After a week of taking the vitamin D, I have had no rls symptoms for over 24 hours. Upon googling, I discover that RLS can be down to Vitamin D deficiency. We will wait and see. At the moment I have relief. Bliss.

One person's research here, although it only involves 12 people: http://www.everydayhealth.com/columns/robert-rosenberg-sleep-answers/vitamin-d-deficiency-blame-restless-legs/

Still no symptoms. Slept for five hours last nigh. Enjoying it while I can!

My heartfelt thoughts to all having a bad time. :(

JM  Someone's pinched the waving smiley so imagine that one is waving ! Hope you are well .

Penitent Are you able to disrupt those intrusive thoughts in anyway?
I hope you feel a bit calmer today .

SDW Good to see you had a reasonable nights sleep . Thanks for jogging myH memory about vit D . I don't have rls but as there has been much discussion on vit D on the OS threads I keep meaning to give it a try as others with similar health conditions to myself have found it beneficial .

Faerie I hope you managed some sleep last night . Good luck with the phone appointment today . I don't imagine much will alter but it's worth a try .
I will post on here later as I've been reading through your new to all this thread and trying to join up the dots to get a fuller picture to make up for the previous posts I've missed x

Wishing everyone a good day .

Oh Elsian I hope Gitdog is much better now . Your comment about the med that makes him hyper made me laugh . Many on here will recall the vivid pink liquid antibiotic which used to be prescribed for children . As a mum of 4 my heart used to sink when the pharmacist handed it over as 2 of my children used to virtually be swinging from the light fittings at the first spoonful .

Melly Hoping your husband is improving and you are managing some rest . Is that tigerbabes in the picture? I lose track of which mog is which :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Whichever it is it's a dead ringer for my mog of my heart still much missed . I know a lot of people don't agree but many of us do hold one in a special memory .
Many years on and as someone who had cats all her life he was my last cat and I think will remain so .

Anyway I should have eaten at lunchtime so need to do so now .
Todays you couldn't make it up is all 4 hospitals many miles apart and under 2 different trusts are in the remaining few trusts to not be operational yet . DD is due to have a very urgent procedure on Wednesday after a wait since late summer of last year .
She is under the care of all those hospitals but at present none of them can proceed .

Faerie as promised earlier my thoughts on things . Just my view and meant kindly .
As I mentioned earlier I have read through the various threads with all the information re the will and your hope for a secure roof in the future .
In view of the complexity of the situation the £500.000 additional burden added on the main home and the state of disrepair , additionally not knowing if the work that has needed doing on the property abroad will be reclaimable by your uncle as he has had to deal with that and you do not know if that was funded by your mother or he is owed that it will I imagine be a very lengthy process to sort out .
I know you are grateful your uncle took on the fight to restore your rightful legacy despite the threats . Whatever the situation between you both treasure that one good and brave deed whether it was for your mother or you or maybe a mixture of both .

You are better leaving the whole thing firmly in the hands of the solicitor for now . I can't ask you not to stress , plan or ponder the future but until the final figures are calculated try to shift your focus to the things that may be possible in the here and now .

Two things that stand out to me are the fact you somehow need to access proper physical support - rather like WaSs Bubbly Bulldozer .I'm aware you have some hours of physical in home personal care but you need the type that understands the system for proper nhs care , dwp and day to day issues .

I'm aware it's like searching for a needle in a haystack but it does still exist I assure you and it may take some searching but try the websites and advice online for the charities and voluntary organisations connected to any or all of your conditions .

The second thing is the obvious need for decent GP treatment . That is where a decent support worker can help and even act as an advocate on your behalf .

I know it's a big challenge but may be more productive than dwelling on the outcome of the will .

We have had two outstanding GPs caring for my daughter but we have also had to work over the years to educate reception staff , hospitals , clinics and two consultants in a different way to deal with complex physical and mental health conditions which has not only helped my DD but other patients too as a result of challenging the so called "Norm"
Apologies for the long post and to the rest of the posters here.

OH has a leak today's scan showed so back into theatre he goes tomorrow

He was on form this evening he has promised to not be so grumpy when he has come home lol.
Also asked repeatedly whether one of the nephews had been in, this nephew was there the first day and has been in a good 5 times but OH can't remember any of it.
He told his sister he loved her and she told him so that was good.

I am still hanging on, have a chat about a job tomorrow yes the timing sucks but it's walking distance and OH will be in for 4 or 5 months so needed.
