My boss is in the office today for a review meeting. I have done absolutely nothing that I'm supposed to have done (haven't even started most of it).... most of today will be spent trying not to shout / cry / resign / set off the fire alarm to get out of here.

Happy Haggis day Code!! Despite not being the slightest bit Scottish IzHe and I have haggis for tea tonight (a veggie version for me) and he reckons that it means he has to have some scotch too. I might get myself some IrnBru instead

Tea, it would be a shame if you burnt your toast and set the fire alarm off :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Grrrrrrrrr
I just found out I have to do a technical talk to my colleagues sometime in May.
EEEK!! I know I'll be OK as I can choose the subject, but still.:eek:

Nope. I wanted to listen to what they had to say - apparently I'm not working hard enough for their liking despite the fact that my work has nothing to do with them, I don't work with them and they're not in charge of me in any way. They know I heard them because I've been giving them daggers ever since. I am a master of the dirty look. The instigator of the conversation looks a bit scared now. :rotfl:
Hbs - there are some good videos on YouTube of people doing good presentations if you're looking for tips. I'm sure you'll be wonderful.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
I don't think I would've been quite so restrained. I would probably have listened for a bit and then joined in with the conversation, explaining exactly why it's impossible to work as hard as they think you should when nobody can be bothered to give you the access you need or explain what it is they actually want from you.
Well done for scaring them though0
