I printed out 70 flyers. I know I did. I distinctly remember typin "70" into the copies required field when I printed them off.

I spent days making sure the addresses for the labels were up to date (not done for months and the database is closed so it doesn't automatically update. So it has to be done by hand with two other programs open).

I stuffed the envelopes.

I printed off 83 labels meaning I should have had to have printed out another 13 flyers and stuffed another 13 envelopes.

I have just emptied 55 envelopes and cut up 55 flyers for scrap paper.

There were 138 flyers. I know. I can add 83 and 55. I'm doing a GCSE Maths at evening class.

I have no idea how that happened.......

I look like a moron who can't count. I'm 49 tomorrow.

I start again on Monday.

ww, that's a wonderful post, for two reasons.

1. You have got it totally right about WaS - she helps loads of people on here, and loads more hummingbirds. (And I suspect has a bulging PM box we never, or rarely, hear about). Go WaS! But have some very big hugs and squishes in sympathy for the loss of your teacher friend xxxxxx

((WaS)) - you've not made nothing of your life. OK, you might not have the traditional success symbols, but that's just stuff. You manage to live your life well, despite your limitations. And that's really being successful. I think you should email him anyway - I know he won't get it, but it might be therapeutic for you to tell him how much he meant to you.

I am consider returning to my old job even if they offer the much lower rate of pay. Is that nuts? I thought I could maybe tough it out, but ever since I overheard the office bullies I don't want to be around them.

Code, make a fuss, HR, senior management, union (if you're in one), the works. No-one should have to put up with that.

I'm facing a brick wall of technical support to do today. Currently at the "don't know where to go next" stage - I've batted off a couple by asking them difficult questions, but they'll come back, but I've got some others which don't match any known problems, so I've got to work out if it's our fault or the customer's fault (this sometimes takes days of my time for a single problem).

Really not that nuts code. Although I'd definitely consider kicking up a fuss at the current place, even if you are planning on leaving soon. Their behaviour is completely unacceptable.

I have done some fantastic procrastination this week - really top notch stuff. So much so that, despite what felt like a v busy week I have done absolutely zero towards anything I'm supposed to be working on.

Happy birthday GN. Enjoy Cov I am currently sitting in a rough, cold office there, but leaving that aside I love the place. It's really underrated but has so much to offer!
