Good morning WW, hbs, ono and everyone else.
Every place I've worked in, you've had to lock your PC or you get in trouble.

Morning All.
We don't have to lock our computers but it's habit that I do because otherwise people have an annoying habit of sending ridiculous emails
It's my Friday today (going to a friends' wedding but need to travel down there tomorrow) and home time really can't come soon enough.0 -

Penguin about Death
My teacher friend let me know that another teacher who I was close to and who helped me for 4 years as a child died last night. He was 63 which is really no age. I knew his wife also, they would cook me dinners as a child and try to make me feel part of their family. He had wanted me to email him a few years ago but I didn't because I couldn't bear to tell him that I hadn't made anything of myself after the amount of effort he put in to help me. I wish I had sent an email, I have never forgotten him. End PenguinUntil one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Firstly
You have made something g of yourself madam look at the amount to of people who worry about you, are interested in what you say and you help0 -
Oh WaSsy! Don't beat yourself up. Write your memories here. If you'd sent him an email, he'd've been pleased. If you write about him on here, we will all take part of him to inspire us through a chilly month end.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because of you and this thread, WaS, I have been able to give some help to two people in 'real life' who have been hearing voices (one who hadn't ever told anyone before, although they knew about the attack). One is hoping to go on to work in the emergency services in the future.
I have been able to nuture my daughter, having a clearer understanding of mh and how important it is to be a child.
I have been able to understand that my mh symptoms are symptoms; they are not 'me'. I understand that sometimes they will be worse symptoms than at other times and so I can recognise and take action when they begin to get worse so they don't get worse.
I have made and kept a friend from my exercise class.
I have been on TV doing my exercise class.
There is a photo of me in a different exercise class on the internet and discovering that has not made me suicidal (before it would have triggered those feelings).
I am putting on my big girl pants more often and, although I still mess up (finances), I am not compounding the issue by sticking my head firmly in the sand and then being scared to death that someone will sexually assault my protruding bottom.
I can take a compliment and accept it in the way it was given (subtle hint, here, to anyone still reading).
Life is not perfect by a long shot and of course I feel I should have achieved more but sometimes circumstances are against us.
I think you are brave and funny and kind and clever and interesting. I don't need you to be anything else.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
