I'm feeling very grateful today. My hours have dipped at work with it being dead, and Swain has told me he wants to pay for my butterfly tattoo. He says he knows how much it means to me and to get it booked this week.
So i could have another by the end of the week! Pics to follow if i do.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Morning my Lovelies,
hugs, squishes and handshakes all and extras to any MIA's
Spoken to the pound today and as I am not claiming the car back no storage fees.
My sofa has eaten my mobile. So need to find it. And action man forgot to his work shirts home with him. So I have to go out today even though I would prefer to stay at home in bed.
Need to get hold of the insurance company and tell them I am getting rid of the car. Not sure if I should admit it is being impounded or not. So I can cancel that.
Had about 5 hrs sleep and know that I should not really stop. As if I do I will go to sleep.
Oh and emptied my car at 2.30am. Don't ask could not face anyone and being asked any questions.
I hope everyone managed to get some rest.
catch you all soon.
Yours

Oh dear Calley, sorry about the car
It's good that you had insurance as if you hadn't they would have prosecuted that for sure, not just impounded it.
Best wishes for the interview GN.
Today I'm looking at a section of code that always fills me with doom (it's a system I inherited the maintenance of after the original developer left to pursue a career he was more suited to, something nothing to do with programming). It should have a comment of "here be dragons" at the top or something :rotfl:Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -

I wonder if that is the laying down of new memories, the processing of older memories or recall of memories. Must look when I have more time.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Hi. :hello:
The interview went well. I'm going to a presentation tomorrow and following what they do for Thursday afternoon and Friday with a view to starting next week.
I've got to sort out logins for a database, a new badge, a new security pass and an enhanced DBS check which I'm not at all sure this hospital has kept up to date with. So. Nothing important.
Got to sort a few things, run a few errands and do on. Check in with you guys later. :hello::huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Well done Gingernutty!! Happy days!
Calley, sorry to hear about the car
I have been stuck in a small room with a PC and a camera microscope for four hours solid. Send help and/or biscuits...
