I found a job online I can apply for. In the same organisation I currently work for, IN THE DEPARTMENT I WANT TO WORK FOR!!!!! :j

Guess what I'll be doing tonight at work? :D

I've also got an interview for a part time temporary position on Tuesday.

I've been looking up dates of employment and now I'm off to bed.

    I feel strangely excited.... :o
    Ooh! Good luck, Gingernutty! :j

  • x2 - the very best of luck, Gingernutty!

Love the butterfly tatoo idea (even though I don't usually like tatoos! - yes, I know that is rather heresy on this thread :D )
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

I spent the night applying online for the job I really, really want and pressed submit application about 90 minutes ago.

The deadline is 17:00 tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

I've got to update my CV and print instructions for two computer phobic ladies who rely on the night shift to print off their work lists.

That won't be happening at all soon so they need to learn.

I'm having 'lunch' in the canteen hoping the rain eases off soon. :rotfl:
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Managed to trap a nerve in my neck so moving very gingerly today.

Good luck on the job Gingernutty. Still haven't heard anything about an interview and am so bored and frustrated with the new job and one of my colleagues. Because I've had very little system access, I needed him to do a test on a project I was assigned. Instead if just helping, he decided to pick up another bit of it and took all the credit for the bit I'd done. Now that the bit he wrote is wrong, he's now trying to pass it back to me to fix. It's just yet another reason I don't want to be there. Been looking at jobs again but it's slim pickings. All that is available is the same job for a similar companies who are probably worse to work for based on anecdotal evidence. I've even expanded my search to IT in general but it's just highlighted how out of date I've become.

    Afternoon my Lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round.

Well action man did not get home until nearly 11pm last night  anyway he has gone home for the week. Not sure if I will get to see him this week. Depends if I can get up to see him or not. Otherwise it will be whole week. I know I have a very sad action man as I know he will miss me. Also me making his lunches and cooking tea LOL!!!

Code ouchy. I hope you are taking some pain relief for it.

Everyone take care and catch you all again soon.

    Yours

    Calley X

I am hungover. Very hungover. I am going to hide under a pillow at least until tomorrow. Possibly longer.

I hope that the process of making yourself hungover was enjoyable, at least!

Yeah, the southern comfort when I was already well past my best wasn't the greatest idea I had all evening.
It was the relative's do I was organising which went pretty well, so relief as much as anything. Not had a hangover like this in years though.
