    Good luck, tea.

Yes, it is indeed that time of year when the need to traumatise that Gitdog in your life becomes overwhelming once more.:rotfl:

    Good luck Tea!!

As predicted, today is a very big OUCH!!

Ginger, have you worked there long enough to qualify for redundancy pay? If it's likely to happen would it be worth staying a little bit longer so that you get to leave but with a pay out?

WaS, I'm glad things with Millefleur seem to be a little bit more sorted. Having their own bar sounds fabulous. I reckon BIL will get himself barred on his 3rd visit.

Tips et al., It's definitely very sucky when you lose a friend because their/your partner is insecure about your friendship. Even though I'm generally pretty insecure I would never tell IzHe who he could or couldn't see because I would never be with someone if I didn't trust them not to cheat on me.

My brother's best mate, who was pretty much part of my family from when I was 2, cut all of us out of his life because his wife didn't like us. He recently got back in touch with my mum and apologised for letting the distance go on for as long as it had but I really don't know that I'll ever be able to forgive how much he hurt us.

    How did it go tea?

Was the Xmas party fun izzy?

I think the whole office may know my feelings towards this job now, given I just said 'this job f' in sucks' really loudly.

    Haha, good on you code!

Was ok ish, definitely could have gone better but wasn't a complete disaster. Really annoyed about a couple of things I did wrong but I know there's nothing I can do about it now. Now I just need to wait....fingers crossed it was enough for a pass!

Try not to worry about it too much tea or think about what you could have done. Hope you pass.

I don't think it's helped me much tbh. I'm actually at the stage where I hope I fail probation so I can just get out. It's so joyless. Other teams have Christmas decorations. There's not as much as a string of tinsel in my team area because that might be fun and not related to work. I hope I infect them all with my cold.

It was actually a lot better than I thought it'd be. There wasn't that great a turn out but there was much booze and quite a few giggles. Having eaten my pretty much my own bodyweight in crisps and chocolate this morning I'm starting to feel a lot better :D

Nice one letting them know how you feel about the job. Did anyone react or did they just pretend it hadn't happened?

I've had a few emails recently asking me to donate blood so I thought that I really should book an appointment - I've been putting it off because my iron was too low the last couple of times and they have a 3 strikes and you're out rule and I don't want to be taken off of the register permanently - and the earliest one which isn't already fully booked is 21st Feb!!!

There is a session on Tuesday which has limited walk in slots so I don't know whether to go along and ask for them to do the iron test before booking me in. I know they're not supposed to but they did it for me once before when I was coming close to being taken off the list.

    Afternoon my lovelies,

hugs and squishes and handshakes all round.

Sorry to hear people are still struggling with work issues. not nice and towards the end of my last proper job. I left because I knew he would sack me soon as my mental health was all over the place. Now I really scared to go back to work.

When I was 21 my best female friend, bf hated me. We agreed to all meet for a drink so he could get to know me. As according to him before I meet him, I was a tart, B1tch and a s1ut. Interesting seeing as I had never had sex. He was about 8/9 years older than my friend and he thought I was going to get her to dump him for someone else. Well she did in the end as he was such an a$$ hat.

Not sure its just about trust but jealousy in that you can tell X all your problems but not me. Does that make sense. I would want my bf/partner/husband to tell me all his issues. And mine to him as we are part of a team.

Went out for tea last night. Sadly I did not get to dress up as took the action collie for a walk and then to the pub. We are lucky as one local pub has a area for people with doggies. And action collie was really well behaved. Action man told me first time action collie had been in a pub.

Umm something is loose in my laptop. Shake it and it rattles  lets hope I can nurse it on a little while longer.

Action man said he hoped that for my brithday/xmas etc that the price limit I had imposed will be removed or at least lifted. I was like ummm no. Don't see the point of adults with their own money buying expensive gifts for each other. I get like engagement/wedding/eternity rings etc type stuff. Other wise I don't get it.

Anyway need to walk up the shop and get some bread as no lunch for me.

    Yours

    Calley X
