Found this link this morning and thought I'd share in case it's any use to anyone - a self advocacy guide for carers.

Just finished a hot chocolate as it happens. It's an Italian one called ciobar and its like liquid chocolate. Could have done with Pyxis or ono though - the instructions are all in Italian and Google translate gave somewhat odd results.

    This is the translation:

Cameo den Ciobar thickens immediately, when it comes abolno F Mix the contents of an envelope back into an ml of milk added a little 'time. Today I have a big blue sad.
    Me too!

Despite my SAD lamp, I think the winter blues plus the Christmas blues are starting to kick in.
Actually, it's probably more the Christmas blues. I'm not going abroad this year to avoid it, and I think that might be a mistake. :(:(:(

    Hahahahahahaha!

That 'translation' is weird! Or was autocarrot on overdrive?

If you still want a translation, you can post it! Even if I don't know the odd word, I've got a huge brick of a dictionary which is brilliant!

I expect you've sussed it out, though!

  • Do you have the Italian you typed in to google translate? It might be easier to understand! Google translate can be helpful for picking out a colloquial phrase which a series of words don't really indicate if you translate them literally, but in many circumstances it's just rubbish :rotfl:

I haven't had a lesson in almost a month, our teacher has had a series of things happen that have led to her postponing them, so I'm a bit out of practice though.

I used the app that takes the photo, so that was directly from the box with no human/autocarrot error :rotfl:

I gave up and figured it out from context  It is actually delicious.

Hugs to all with big blue sads.

Liquid chocolate sounds good, I would probably have given up on trying to make it though. Everything seems too much effort today and the rubbish translation would have tipped me over the edge.

    Morning my lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round.

Guess what plank at 1am fell over and hurt there knee. yay me :j and no drink was involved Lucky no bruise but have skinned my knee :rotfl:

Anyway I have been on a roll. Wrapped a load of presents and am very pleased with the results. Might be because I was using the kitchen work tops, thicker wrapping paper and my trusty scotch paper cutter.

BlobServlet?lmd=1280177609000&locale=en_EU&assetType=MMM_Image&assetId=1273660740057&blobAttribute=ImageFile it curls ribbons as well. I picked mine up for something silly one day like 50p. Means I get clean edges not always straight though :rotfl:

Dad has just been to collect my nephews birthday present. His birthday was at the start of november. I know very bad aunty. With the car, coming off my meds and my cold, its just got away with me. Any way in passing dad said about mum not being well. I know she said she has had fallen over 3/4 weeks ago and still ached she is 71. I said I will get a car sorted and go to the dr's with her. My mum is not the type to cause a fuss. But I will :D

Right time to get on with some as still loads to do before I go away this evening. Never believe I was up at 7.30 this morning as seem to have got very little done!!!!

Mind you tea's hot chocolate and jaffa cakes offer is very tempting.

I hope you all have sunshine. As that does tend to lift the mood slightly.

    Take care

    Yours

    Calley X

I think this should be BLUE Friday, not Black Friday!

Although, having said that, I love the colour blue and associated it with blue sunny skies and lovely gemstones! Not with gloom and more gloom.

Whereas black is much more illustrative of the general gloom of depression, especially the blackest black in the world that that artist has purloined for himself, which swallows up all light and turns things invisible; so the blackest black swallows all the Happy and turns it into a Nothing Void.

So today is The Blackest-Black Friday.

Well done on the wrapping Calley. I think I need to add one of those cutting/curling tools to my ever-expanding box of wrapping stuff.

It's weird, it's a really bright blue day here, which normally cheers me up, but I'm still snappy and irritable and want everyone to go away. IzHe and I had another one of our recurring rows last night and even though we talked through it and everything's okay I'm still on a very short fuse today. How annoyed I got with the fact that someone is still helping themselves to my butter out of the fridge at work showed me that I should keep myself to myself. Carving out "F**K OFF" into the top of my butter did give me great pleasure though :D
