Rounds up all the blankets in the fort and sends DA dog to sit on WaS for warmth.

Code, is your drinking chocolate this?

The link has instructions in English, which sort of partially intersect with the automatic translation you posted.

That's it but I have the normal one instead of the dark one. That's not what I did to make it — I warmed the milk first and then mixed it but it was delicious anyway.
    I'd totally recommend it.

Squishes and cuddles to all those having a blue/black day. I hope things feel better as the day goes on for you.
In the days when I used a fountain pen and ink, there was an ink called blue-black.
One of the brands was Quink.

Perhaps the gloomy days could be called quink days.

Although quink doesn't sound very gloomy, more like a quirky wink!

    I love

  • I have a two pint bottle of Quink on top of the wardrobe. As you do. But I usually use green ink as blue or black or blue/black seemed so commonplace when I chose it. I even use sealing wax on what I have written with my green ink, yes really.
You can have hours of artistic fun with ink and blotting paper by dropping ink onto the paper and then dripping water onto the ink blot, the colours spread out very prettily. Chromatography, or something like that?
Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.

My heater has broken, the only one I have. This is a bad thing.

Can you get a replacement? Considering how cold it is you really don't want to be without heat. Hopefully you can find a good deal somewhere. Argos are normally pretty good and have a lot of stuff available for same-day delivery.

I googled the Italian instructions, and I'm very pleased to say that despite not having had Italian lessons for 18months, I understood it all! Yey!

In fact, I understood the original Italian, but didn't understand Code's google translation! Hahahahahahahahahah!

  • Just a quick pop into here and the fort, as I really must go out. But THANK YOU all very much for the birthday wishes - I had a lovely one!

Caffe Nero Hot Chocolate Milano, or Paul hc (which you can nearly stand a spoon up in!) are rather good. I'm also planning to try CN TIramisu HC, at some point......

    Hey guys.

    Things aren't getting much better.

I finished work Wednesday morning after asking my three bosses (\:eek:/) to be considered for a day job that had been recently advertised.

Even though tfey have my personal email address, I've heard nothing.

If they won't even consider me, then I'll resign.

I've been to the doctor who gave me instructions on how to get some blood tests done next month (including making sure my phone number is up to date ), went to the dentist who hasn't seen me since I started my Fitbit 'thing', on to the dental hygienist and then onto Brum to pick up a new bra from John Lewis.

Today, I haven't left the flat as I've been online banking (on my phone) and doing five loads of laundry.

I had chocolate for lunch :o

Tomorrow, there's more to do around the house, picking up some stuff from M&S, picking up and paying for stuff from tailors, getting a load of old clothes to the charity shop, trying to get out to a dry cleaner for some coats, I want to do some gardening, shopping, more laundry and I want to watch a DVD.

Hugs to everyone. I'll just disappear in a whirlwind of busy-ness.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Lottery win is definitely my preferred plan. Then I could have my home boarding/dog daycare thingy and it wouldn't matter if I didn't make much money. I'd also build an additional kennel block for the local places who rescue poundies, so they could save more dogs.

This is my ultimate dream job too! I would love to give up teaching and look after dogs - maybe we should go into business? ;)
