Just discovered a load of washing I put in the machine earlier. I'd filled it with powder and selected the program, but then failed to close the door or start it running
Far too late to start it now, have to get up at 6.30 tomorrow and will be out in the countryside all day until late!Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
Sounds like the kind of thing I'd do, ono. Can you set a delay so it's ready to hang up when you get up in the morning? My washing machine has delayed start times which may be useful in this situation. I can't use them now cause DA dog is afraid of the spin cycle.
That's a beautiful cat melly. I like tabbies.
I am going mad trying to work out what size of boxes I need for my alcohol Christmas gifts. Giving myself a headache. The ones I can find are either too big, too small or too expensive. Too much maths. I can't brain.
For the past few days here, it's been -1°C to -6°C, so there's been a pretty heavy hoar frost, to the point where it looked like there was a layer of snow on the ground. It warmed up slightly today and the frost was evaporating from the fields and it looked so cool, but the frost is so pretty.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
That reminds me that I had a red admiral butterfly fluttering around my work window in the sunshine on Friday.
Had a good day today. Family birthday meal tonight. Littlewing was lovely and made the relative feel very special.

Code, can't you get cellophane and ribbon from the florist to 'wrap' your bottles?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
That is adorable, Whitewing! I want it just because it's a crab!
I have a 6 year old Nokia that is total pain to text on too, Pyxis! Like you, I never knew what deal to take so I didn't bother, I needed someone to offer me one! My contract is only £15 a month with the new phone so I am happy with that, fortunately they added a loyalty bonus which brought it right down. I have been with Orange, now EE for 16 years so they rewarded that. It will be useful for me to be able to get online when I hurt too much to get out of bed, right now I have to get up to use the laptop. Well, I've been with O2 for 23 years! Never been with any other provider. (They were originally called British Telecom and then Securicor).
On the whole, I've had no problem with them, but it is annoying that loyalty doesn't get rewarded as much as new customers do. Doesn't make sense to me. Surely it would be easier to keep existing customers with incentives than have to keep touting for new ones.(I just lurve spiders!)

Find a good deal elsewhere. Phone up your current provider, ask for the MAC code (or whatever it's called) and when they ask why, tell them about your great deal and see what they can match.
I'm SIM only, but it generally does the trick for me. They can't change their own deals but you can negotiate the price on what they're offering. I think I'm currently on a £14 a month deal for £10 and I got the first two months free. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

That is so cool.
I have cellophane and ribbon but that's way too easy. I decided instead of one big bottle, I'd do multiple small bottles of different flavours and I think that would work better in a box. I really need to stay off pinterest.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
