    Mel,

You did not fail. You got scared and did what everyone does in that situation. run and hide away.

Its hard to admit to anyone that you have an issue. More so if it brings up issues that you have tried to bury deep.

I did something scary for me I bit the bullet and went to register with a dentist today. But now have to wait until 25th Jan for my appointment  will try and put that out of my mind as it scares me witless the dentist.

    Massive hugs and squishes

    Mel,

Not going to argue with you. You did not fail any one. beating yourself up will not make you feel any better. It will make you worse if you believe that.

    Massive hugs

Right guess who is not tired yet :j

Managed to wrap all of action mans presents that I have. Another couple will arrive in the next few days. Some actually look not to bad. The rest do look like a 5 year old has wrapped them. Action man said not to worry as he will open them like a 5 year old :rotfl:and been listen to C word songs. I know way to early even for me.

But is nice to be able to buy and wrap and give presents to someone who I will see on the day. As with on/off what ever he was I was never allowed to see him on occasions like that and never knew if he was talking to me or not.

Anyway I having a bit of battle with myself. Information over load with sorting out a car. Just too much to think about. I would like another one but just don't know what to do. As you can now check MOT history so can see what it failed it on.

use to be you paid your money and took your choice. Been told not to waste my time with a couple of local places. So stuck. I know a car is a luxury and as I need to go back to work sooner rather than later thanks to my lodger. Not sure what to do. As I will need one.

Don't want a tiny car but don't want anything too huge or expensive to run. Action collie won't be in it very often. Action man has a estate.

I sound so pathetic :( as I know its a first world problem.

Think I need go to sleep and think about it.

Hope everyone else gets some decent sleep.

    Night night

    Yours

    Calley

I love Humans, are you watching the first series? I am on series two and waiting for the next episode. It does make you think and wonder if there will be anything similar in the future.

I came to it at Series 2, but have just gone back to watch series 1 on catch-up. Series 2 was pretty self-explanatory, though.

I think it will happen, but not in my lifetime , unfortunately,

I think the great strength of the programme is setting it in our current timeline, rather than at a date in the future.

Calley the Audi a2 is a fairly small car but feels big on the inside.

Its also very very fuel efficient we barely need to fill it up when doing normal round town driving.

Calley, I don't suppose you're a member of the AA, or know anyone well who is?

Possibly you can access this service even if you aren't a member:
for a fee, (don't know what the current one is) they will check out a car you're interested in buying, and let you know of any faults it has, whether major or minor, and give you a report.

That is good to know, particularly when buying second-hand, and is worth the fee for peace of mind.

When I had my previous car and it was becoming really old, I had this done for my own car, so that I could be forewarned of any major problems it might be leading up to, and also because I wasn't too sure that garages would give me the correct information.
    It was very reassuring.

    Might be worth looking into?

(Also, if a garage or a private seller isn't keen for an AA man to inspect their car, that in itself is very telling!)
